I don't understan why Toynami doesn't release the SDF-1 figure they showed off two years ago. People might actually buy that.

Its supposed to come with volume 9. Not sure about the US version though. Has the US versions ever came out with figures? Cause the Japanese version have about 3-4 figures out already. Th US versions don't come with anything, which is why I noted that I was referring to the NON-US version.

Is it VOL.8 of the manga (non US version of course) that comes with the Rei figure? Anyone heard anymore information about that?

I feel kind of lost in the online world when it comes to Transformers. I will not sign up to any of the TF forums because the majority of the members seem to be either 12 years old or too blindly devoted to TFs in general. On the other hand it's hard to have discussions about TFs on other forums because of the negativity and hostility towards the shows and toys. It would be nice to have a sort of happy medium somewhere. I'm all for criticism of the toys and the series, but only if it's constructive. Weeding through all the inane posts where people are doing nothing bust bashing and name calling gets very tiresome.

Looking at the box for series 2, I couldn't help but notice the prominance of Devastator in the background art. I'm not letting it lead me to the assumption that an itty bitty Constructicon set is on the way, but wouldn't that be awesome? They could package them two per box, each with some of the extra pieces to make Devastator.

I'm all over this one. Hopefully Sunstreaker, Wheeljack and Mirage aren't too far behind.

Heh, and some people think Energon toys are ugly...

Man, the hostility towards Energon here is almost scary.

Those are three of my favorites too, BoB. If you want to try out some of the larger size Energon TFs, I strongly suggest Starscream and Snow Cat. Starscream is undeniably cool and has a great overall design, while Snow Cat has a lot of that blocky and ugly G1 charm you referred to. They're both endowed with lots of articulation too. I also like Hot Shot and Rodimus but I don't think they are as much of a sure-fire hit as Starscream and Snow Cat. Wait until Tow Line comes out, he should have tons of G1 charm since he transforms like Ironhide. This time there is a head though.

Here it is, you can clearly see the stock and the silencer. I bet they can be connected to make a cannon like the vintage version too.

Just got Megatron in the mail today. I'm a HUGE fan of the WST line and Megs did not disappoint. Some people might think he feels flimsy, but considering the size of these things it seems like it would be impossible to make them feel less flimsy. In actuality Megatron is very well made and a quality toy. I'm amazed that his transformation mechanics are nearly identical to the original. I've never seen such tiny flip-out hands. As for the notch on his handle, that's definately for his stock. The first pic that was shown of this series from several months ago had a disassembled Megs on display complete with scope, stock and silencer. So they've been made, it's just a matter of when we get them and how. I'm thinking they'll be a chase in Series 3. Also shown in that pic were Tracks, Skids, and Hot Rod who will make up the meat of Series 3. I know I have that pic buried somewhere in my PC, if I find it I'll post it. I can't wait to get the rest of Series 2 but it's unfortunate that Silverstreak is a chase, like Prime's trailer I'll probably never get one.

Cool. Now they just need to make them articulated and transformable.

The last new valk I bought was the original release of the VF-1S 1/48. That was...cripes, over a year ago now! Between then and now the only Macross toy I've bought is a cheap VF-17A. The only thing I really want as far as new things go is the Q-Rau, but it's way out of my price range. I'll probably buy the VF-0 when it comes out, but that's a pretty rickety probably. It wont take much for me to end up passing on it. I still love Macross just as much as ever, but I can only handle so many VF-1 toys. I really doubt I'll ever buy another one unless a new super-deformed version hit's the market. Until then, I'll be happy with the various other things I collect.

Yuck. I like Energon but I knew Megs wouldn't be something I'd want from the first picture I saw several months ago. That jet looks like what would happen if a gamma ray struck an X-wing right as it was sucking a flock of swans through it's intakes. And the "Hey, lets throw a tiny non-transforming tank in for good measure!" really completes the stupidity.

Yep, FFDshow is the way to go. Now if I could just get EP06 to finish without crashing my system...

Zambot Ace Kind of looks like Rodimus Prime in bot mode. Or I suppose Rodimus Prime would look like Zambot Ace. Either way, me likey!

Out of all of the Eva toys I have my favorite thing by far is the whole Kubrick collection. Kubricks are an aquired taste though, so if you're not into their style it's not very likely you'll dig the EVA Kubricks. For me though there is just something wicked-cool about Lilith (complete with lance of Longinus) in Kubrick form. Here's my collection...

Hmm...I'm not that big of a fan of Jack Black or of King Kong, but putting them together sounds enticing for some reason.

Heheh, I've seen the first one on TV but I didn't know there were others. I think the one with the TM going after the kids is my favorite.
