Probably in the same place mine is I would guess that as we speak, Godzilla and the rogue whale-riding pirates, even after having teamed up to stop them, have been vanquished by the steadfast Alphas. Now all they have to do is get through the much dreaded "Vampire Tuna Sector" and they should be in the clear. I hear the VTS can be a real bitch for cheaply made toys, so wether or not they get past should be a good indication of what kind of toy we have to look forward to. I've also heard that the only reason the MPC valks made it through the VTS is because they showed up as Chunky Monkeys on the VTS radar, thus causing the vampire tunas to flee for their lives, not wanting another ass-wholloping like the one that the Bandai reissues gave them.

You obviously don't know much about Michael Moore. Now I remember why political discussions aren't allowed on this board. As for the topic, it's clear that there were other elements involved here. I'm sure there had probably been many things leading up to this incident and finally things just came to a head. These people had it in them to do such an evil deed wether an X-Box was involved or not. I'm sure if it had been a six-pack of Hamms stolen the outcome would have been the same.

I was really excited for Starscream at first, but after seeing lots of detailed pics and reading reviews, he just doesn't seem to be worth it. What's the point of making an entire new mold for a G1 toy when it's only improved just a little bit? It still looks nice, but I can't help but think that there will be a bigger and better (possibly Masterpiece) version somewhere down the road. And no, I haven't heard anything, this is just PURE SPECULATION. I would like to get the G1 Convoy but I'm going to wait a little and see if I can get the little feller for cheaper. Star Saber and V.Leo look to be the best ones so far and I can't wait to see them painted. This is looking to be a fun line, even though only a minorty of the figures are interesting.

Ah yes, once our Alphas somehow miraculously get here they should have quite the story to tell. I think surviving a vampire tuna attack definately makes one of these things worth the $80.

That's barring any further unforseen problems for the boat, such as icebergs, pirates, UFOs, magnetic field disturbances and sharks with laserbeams strapped to their heads.

I'm really liking Grimlock and I think it's fantastic and truly creative how they have managed to retain a lot of his 'look' without actually being a dinobot. I read that the sword he comes with is actually his drive train in car mode.

Wal*Mart. First I learned never to ask any employee any question. Then I learned to just no go to that store. Circuit City is just as bad, but you can't avoid asking their employees questions since they hawk you and wont leave you alone. The last time I was in Circuit City I got accosted by three employees before I was able to get to the computer section, while I was in the computer section three more came by asking if I needed help, and on my way out there were another two. I was in the store for maybe 10 minutes total. I've never seen such an overstaffed store.

Thanks for proving my point, guys. Back when Futurama first aired and some people were saying it was too similar to the Simpsons, I never really saw where tey were coming from, other than the animation style of course. Now Futurama has proven itself to be not only vastly different, but also better in some ways. I'm still pissed it had to get beheaded by the blind and unforgiving Fox guillotine.

Heh, I remember people complaining that Futurama was too much like the Simpsons.

Seth MacFarlane's next animated project is called "American Dad" and is supposed to air sometime in 2005...which is a bit odd since that's when the new Family Guy episodes are supposed to start. Could we be lucky enough to get two great Seth McFarlane shows at the same time? Anyway, check out the 6 minute clip of the pilot episode and tell me that the alien isn't going to be a hit! It's a Banpresto UFO-catcher toy that came out in 2000. I just got it off Ebay last week after hunting for it for well over two years. I think I even had a thread on the wanted section here about it. Even though it's a Banpresto UFO toy, it's a very nice set. The car is detailed, well made and sturdy with a fully painted engine and the figure has tight/strong joints considering how tiny it is and how much articulation there is. The shoulder joints even have metal rivets. There is also a Zenigata with squad car and Fujiko with motocycle to go along with it, but I'm still hunting for those. Best $18 I ever spent.

Don't worry guys, I'm sure by Friday we'll have reviews coming out of our ears. This is going to be a loooooong week.
