I just walked past a yellow S2000 parked by the entrance here and although I don't usually care for yellow on cars, I couldn't help but think "Binaltech Bumblebee!" Speaking of colors, when are we going to start seeing some orange and brown in the Bin/Alt line? I know they're relatively unpopular colors but I'd like to see them. I think an S2000 in a Super Ostrich dreamsicle scheme would look pretty damn cool.

Man, what a hokey process to get that Asuka figure! I wouldn't trust myself to be able to navigate that sort of mailing matrix successfully, so I'll probably be crusing Ebay for it come December.

Wouldn't it be funny if WNDCGR actually turned out to be Wind Cougar or something? I think he looks pretty great so far, except for three minor things... 1. The big white square with the autobot logo sort of makes him look like a marathon runner... 2. I don't care for the way the doors just sort of stick out to the sides on the legs...but it's possible it's mistransformed I suppose. 3. We need more colors here! I really don't want another red Bin/Alt to add to the collection.

As my 1/48 battroid with the fastpacks on. That's precisely why I refuse to buy fastpacks for my 1/48. I'm really not that crazy about this beast, but I love the VF-0 and want a little representation of it for my collection, so if I can find one for $25 or $30 I'll get it.

Come on, Bandai, get off your bums and make us something we can play with! I think this Yamato VF-0 looks great (except for the truly aweful head), but it just screams out "Don't touch me!!".

How is it so bad? It looks like a 3D representation of the anime charicter to me, she isn't in a silly pose and appears to have good paint applications. Or maybe it's the automatic Toynami = BAD philosophy?

Toynami announced their aquisition of the Chobits license some time ago but only recently have they unveiled a first look at Chi. http://www.toynami.com/chobits.html# I have to say, they look pretty good for home-grown anime figures. After seeing the Inu Yasha figures I expected Chobits to be a similar disappointment, but I'm pleasently surprised. While not super-articulated, Chi seems to have enough arm movement to allow for some different poses. I'll probably get the whole line if they aren't packaged in super-deluxe magnet-flap boxes and cost $50 a piece.

The "kitty mode" and head are horrible. Why why why ravage? So many others to make a black vette alternator (other stunticons maybe ). Ravage is just stupid. The only redeeming quality of this one is that it is a black corvette convertible. Gorgeous in that mode. It's alt mode really kills my chances of buying it though. I like Ravage's body but not the head...and I like Dead End's head bu not the body...I wonder if a swap would be fairly easy? Of course that would mean I'd have to buy two Alternators just to get one I like.

Yes! I was hoping Asuka would get the same treatment as Rei. Of course I won't be completely happy unless Shinji and Misato are next.

I was extremely excited for this release. Then I found out it doesn't transform and now I've completely lost interest. Oh well, I guess I've got enough Primes anyway.

Have you considered going the online route? I got so frustrated looking for Silverstreak that I just gave up and bought one from Bill's Toys and Games. Now, I wouldn't reccommend that store by any means (long story), but there are several other places that have SS and Hound in stock. They're around $30 after shipping, but the extra $$ might be worth it to not have to drive all over creation looking for them. Speaking of Streak, this is my first Alternator and although it doesn't have the satisfying heft of die-cast, it's very well constructed and has a nice quality feel to it. The silver color of the plastic is (or is it paint, I'm not sure) beautiful and doesn't have a 'plasticy' look to it. Overall I like SS much better than Smokescreen.

And check out this Mayuko Iwasa special edition of Meister. It would be kind of cool if they stuck a resculpted 'femanine' TF head on it and passed it off as a new character. But then again, maybe they're starting a whole new terrible trend with the Ravage thing and they'll put a little Mayuko head on it.

Baka only lhas up to 13 as well, so I think it's safe to assume 14 isn't done yet. Now, where did I put my patience...

Anyone know what the most recent fansubbed episode is? I just finished 13 and can't wait to see the second part, but I can only find 14 raw...

I'm going to see it in a couple hours. Glad to hear it's not comparible to Akira, I've never really liked that film. The soundtrack is fantastic though.

I hope this is just in regards to what we talked about before. I really don't understand how Champloo could do poorly enough to get completely cancelled when there are hundreds of complete sh!t series out there that were allowed a full run. Champloo is the only new anime (along with GIT:SAC I suppose) I've gotten into at all in the last couple years. If it really did get canned I'd pretty much lose faith in anime completely.

I'm sorry, but that Ravage looks really, really silly. I'm sure some folks will love it though.
