Got my Vector Prime! I like him better than any TF from Armada or Energon. The big chuck of kibble on his back is a little bothersome, but at least it serves a purpose and holds his sword. Still would have been better if it was removable or better incorporated into the bot. The sculpted detail all over every centimeter of VP is amazing, and I would have to say he's the most detailed TF I've ever seen. The articulation is really good, lots of ratcheting joints. And he even came without batteries so i didn't have to deal with lame noise effects while fiddling with him. Too bad the rest of Galaxy Force so far isn't quite as cool as this guy. Pics:

That's exactly why I hesitate to order things directly from HK, or even Japan. My experience has been that I'll either get my package REALLY fast, which is about 70% of the time, or it will get hung up somewhere for weeks. I can't wait to hear more hands-on reports of the monster. I figure in a few days I'll either be glad I waited or kicking myself really hard for cancelling my preorder.

It was pretty hot here in MW when it came out. Surprised you guys didn't catch us raving about it here in the forums. Me and Anubis and a few others were also abit annoyed at Tokyo Central for lack of an email response for our late shipments....but it reached us eventually.... Ah yes, I had all but forgotten about the Tokyo Central thing. They really did seem to handle that poorly. Now I'm mad at them all over again. I hope Asuka comes hassle-free. Trust me, its is quite a hassle. Its mail order only. Hardest part was tracking down the Shonen Ace issues to get the cupon. They sold out in a matter of days. I guess you're right. It's really nice of you to go through all that to hook people up with the figure.

I think that's why I never made it past the third one. The third one was good but I had had about enough of Arthur and the gang by the end of it. As for Mos Def as Ford, I'm warming up to the idea. Being black doesn't bother me, but I guess I was most concerned about some sort of hip-hop attitude seeping through. He seems credible enough to pull it off though. All in all, I'm still looking forward to Star Wars more than this.

Man, that is a great set and a great price! If I liked the show more I'd totally buy that.

This guy could make some killer Sakura, Chun Li and Cammy figures from Street Fighter. I hope he gets a lot more work because at the moment he's my favorite figure designer.

That would be Vector Prime, a new character in the upcoming TF Galaxy Force series. He's apparently a time-travelling TF from ancient cybertron, back when there were no Autobot and Decepticon classes (and the toy has neither symbols on it). So far he seems to be about the only interesting character that I've seen. My VP figure should be showing up in the mail here any day now...I hope.
