I finally picked up a Windcharger and I think he may be my favorite one so far. It's my 4th Alternator, and with each one I get I become more and more sure that I like the Alts better than the BTs. I started out with BT and I love the BTs that I have, but the Alts just pose so much better from their lighter weight and seemingly tighter joints. The cheaper price has been nice too, especially with a new $$$girlfriend$$$ hanging out all the time. Overall I still think it's awesome that both lines exist and that people can pick and choose between them based on their financial situation and their interest in the character.

Meh, it should be watched with the original Japanese dialogue anyway.

I don't care for Ultra Magnus (in any of his incarnations), but didn't we already see the cardboard trailer that the MP version is coming with? There was a photo from a few weeks ago that showed it in the background.

If I remember correctly, Hound was the first one to pop up with a miscolored purple Autobot logo. I think his headlights were orange, too.

I'll believe it when I see a RED Autobot symbol instead of the PURPLE Autobot symbol in those photos. The head looks fairly legit but the miscolored faction symbol screams Photoshop. Actually that's not the case. Many of the Alternators prototypes have had miscolored faction symbols.

I had that happen, too. I used a long, thin pencil eraser (the 'extension' kind) to jimmy it back up. It worked good because it was firm enough for leverage but soft enough to not scratch or damage the plastic.

Don't think the final will be the dirty look. This seems to be a "security" measure to make selling the protos more difficult or some such thing. There are some Cybertron protos on TFormers with the same black spray paint on them. The only one I see with a 'dirty' look is Guardshell, and he's a tractor/construction device, so it makes sense they'd give him a dirty look...

Heh, like I said, I hope people like it. I'm not into the rally/ricer/racer look on a car, so this one's not my thing. Sort of like after Silverstreak was released I got rid of Smokescreen faster than a hot potato. I was tempted to get the Jazz repro labels until I decided it would have been purly nostalgia-based and that overall it would make me like Meister less.

I'm assuming you mean CM's GGG, right? How do you like it? I love my old Takara GGG, but I'm constantly tempted by CM's swanky new version. I wouldn't have to put so much thought into it if it was a little cheaper. Keeping vaguely on topic, would anyone else like to see Cyclone Morphers? I didn't much care for the Valk morphers (mostly because of the far superior JMs), but the Alpha morphers were pretty cool. Not sure how the concept would work with ride armor, but I'd like to see them done in the SD style.

Did you guys see the Windcharger repaint? It's a yellow and 'dirty' rally version of the S2000 supposedly named Dragstrip (after the Stunticon). I personally find it revolting as hell, but I hope it's well recieved and sells out quickly, just so HasTak can justify making more.

This is really great to hear. If it turns out to be unanimous that Lancer is a winner, I'll have to seriously consider getting one. At the rate the improvements seem to be going the Shadow should be a real gem. I can't wait! I would still like a 'perfect' Scott Alpha to replace the one I got rid of (which was actually on the sweeter end of the banana than most of the ones released). Maybe once these have all gone through their runs Toynami can go back and do that one right. I doubt it will happen, but it would be nice. I'm still holding a candle for a kick-ass Ride Armor toy, too.
