Wow, SS looks great! No complaints here.

Damn, I'm glad I didn't try very hard to fold that flap. My first instinct, by looking at it, was that it was supposed to fold up, but after trying it and finding resistance, I decieded to leave it. I like to transform things for the first time without the instructions, so I've learned not to force anything until I'm sure it's supposed to move.

Hasn't Kaiyodo used PVC for almost all of it's figures for a long time now? I guess my point is I'm not surprised they used it on these. Disappointed, but not surprised. I might check out an EVA, but the rest of this line doesn't appeal to me. Not because of the characters, but because of the apparent inability to hold a neutral pose. The new joints are cool. I almost hope a better toy company steals the design to use on better toys.

No kidding, before I got it I was almost afraid this thing was going to collapse into a heap in Battroid mode. On the contrary, it's solid and rigid. This is by far the most satisfying valk toy I've laid my hands on. Hell, I'm staying up later than usual tonight just to admire it and post comments here!

Nice pics, Graham! That last shot is exactly the same pose mine is in right now. He's aiming at my Masterpiece Convoy.

Mine came on Monday but I had no time to take it out until tonight. It's been a week of anticipation indeed! I'm happy to report that mine has no QC problems that I can see. It does have the loose right bicep, but it's not free-moving loose, just not really tight. I removed the pitot tube immediately after taking it for a test flight (and placing a few precision strikes on the cat!) since I don't trust myself with it. My one major gripe is an echo of the previous few pages: the legs not locking into the backpack. The pegs fit so loosely into the holes that they might as well not even be there. It's nothing that ruins my enjoyment of this beauty, but it is strange that they wouldn't use the same mechanism as the 1/48. Transforming it was pretty easy, although I somehow managed to pop the heat shield out of it's hinge (I thought I broke it!) and I had a bitch of a time getting those looooong head antennae through the hole. I do wish the backpack locked against the back a little tighter, but it's not like it falls down or anything. Overall I mostly marvel at the VF-0, it is a wonderful toy and just overflowing with gorgeous detail. I'm not sure which I like better between the Zero and the 1/48, but there's no need to pick a favorite since they're both awesome toys.

Yes, we are all more, nay, MUCH more than meets the eye!

They got it from the sound of R2-D2 having an orgasm.

I personally would only be interested if they transformed into mechas.

That Hot Rod is very, very nice. Hopefully the official one will be even better, but as David said that is hard to imagine. Prime's arm kibble bothers me, but not enough to turn me off.

Gotta' agree with that one. Even if you could trust the crooks on Ebay, what sort of return policy do they have? None, to be sure. Purchases like this should be in your particular region, and they'd better be established, hence the costly business with BBTS as there's no price too high for trust and security... 398844 That's why you always use paypal with a credit card. Fraud protection; people who refuse to use paypal, I have a hard time trusting them. 398854 I always use Paypal, but like myk said, there's not much for a return policy. I like BBTS because if I get a real lemon I can exchange it. I'd be promoting Kevin instead, but, well, you know....

Big Bad Toy Store is one of the best. They might even still have some available after filling pre-orders since they supposedly ordered a large amount of them. The downside is they are asking $184 for the thing before shipping, which is high. They're a reliable store though, and I always get my stuff from them in a day or two (it helps I live very close to their warehouse). I didn't like paying that much for the Zero, but the trust and confidence I have in BBTS is worth it I guess. 398685 why BBTS when you can get them far cheaper on ebay & from some TRUSTED sellers here ?. aaajin 398713 I would never make a transaction for over $100 on Ebay, I'm not aware of any forum members that currently have some available, and I TRUST BBTS. Is that good enough?

I'll be happy with BOTH the VF-0 and MP Starscream, but for different reasons. Starscream I'll adore because it looks like a great toy even though I hate the cartoon it's from. The Zero I'll cherish because it looks like a great toy AND I love the series it's from. I'm sure they wont mind sharing the shelf with one another.

Looks like BBTS finally got their shipment since my card was just charged and they sent a confirmation email. I'll probably never pick up a 1/48 again after landing this bird.

Heh, I'm more along the lines of "seen these movies so many f-ing times I can shut my eyes and watch them anytime I want in any edit I choose"

Those two panels of Stormbringer were more interesting than the last 15 years of TF animated cartoons combined. I wish we'd get more TF comic-based toys. Hopefully the Titanium series will last a while.

And this comes after Lucas swore the original cut of the movie would never see the light of day again. He must have spotted another island somewhere that he wanted but didn't have quite enough dough to purchase. Seriously though, this will make my fiance very happy. She's cooler than I am and refuses to watch the SE Trilogy DVDs because of the CG.

Guys, WST Snarl is, like, soooo Februarys news! j/k I like my little Snarl quite a bit. Some folks have had problems with pieces coming off and some people think he's too delicate, but as far as I'm concerned there's no way they could have made G1 Snarl any better in this scale. It's almost exactly like the original, only small enough to swallow. ::edit:: His decals can also be a problem, since they're not cut very well. But it does say right on the label sheet to use a scissors...

If you check your pre-order page in your account, the VF-0 should still be listed as $164. I'm hoping that BBTS will honor this original price quote, which would explain why they haven't changed it there... 396100 BBTS will only charge you the amount the item was listed for at the time of preorder. A recent example is the THS-02 Covoy figure that came out last month. Upon release BBTS jacked the price way up but still honored the preorder price.

toyboxdx ....but I go there all the time anyway, so that probably doesn't count.

That's gorgeous. Fantastic work!

Hopefully that list is speaking roles. We don't really need two dozen combatants on each side, but a few backgroound faces will not only appease the old time fans, but make this 'war' seem more than 'Millions of years ago, there was a never ending game of five-on-five street basketball on Cybertron...now they've brought their game here...' 394793 SPACE JAM 2!!! NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!!!!

Girly looking? I believe the correct term is "chicken hands" or "skeleton hands". "Girly" implies they would actually have some substance to them. The reason the 1/48s are so dainty is for the 'perfect transformation', so they can fold up inside the arms and not have to be removed. I think Starscreams arms will allow for more hearty hands.

God, I just realised this thread is devolving into one of those aweful TRUKK not MUNKKY! discussions. Someone make it stop!!!
