  1. I hope that the cockpit gets retooled so it can hold a little gummy pilot. Anyone think they'll release a fast-pack set for Starscream?
  2. Poor Starscream wont be able to run or battle very well with all that crap hanging off his waist. If he took one blow that stuff would go flying and he'd never be able to transform back to a jet.
  3. I'm torn. I like everything about the changes other than the fact that it results in kibble. Maybe the extra bits can still be positioned by the legs.
  4. Wow, and I thought new suburban homes were the only things made out of old Cabbage Patch boxes. I'm curious how much the basic shape of the box will change, because that test-package is just about the wonkiest box I've ever seen.
  5. I'd love to take one off your hands if you do pick up a few. For some reason I'm excited about these little valks. I love the small scale ( for the record I love the large scale of the 1/48 too) and the Banprestos didn't cut it for me, so these should fill the gap nicely.
  6. Foghorn always scared me as a kid. His booming southern voice, and his large, mutated half-human half-rooster body were just all kinds of wrong.
  7. I'm just not feeling Jetfire. The thin waist, stupidly visible (couldn't it have had a cover at least?) landing gear in bot mode and all the junk on his arms kills it for me. The jet mode looks cool though.
  8. Ah yes...you're right! There was a big furry red thing too though, wasn't there? Ws he a Marvin the Martian character?
  9. I've always liked the big red furry monster who kidnaps people and calls them "George"... did that character have a name?
  10. I'm thinking they only want to use the R-joints where they won't mar the fluidness of the character design too terribly. If Revy had R-joints on her knees and elbows, she wouldn't look as femanine or sexy. I'm just excited for really well-done figures in this line, regardless of how many R-joints are used. If this line can give me a killer super-posable Spike Spiegel figure (among many others) I'll take it R-joints or no.
  11. Even though I love Starscream and his original color scheme, the thought of a "low-viz" Seeker repaint is very appealing.
  12. Aren't those just packaged pics of the Alpha superposables?
  13. Why is a picture of Michael Bay on a movie set of any interest? Who cares if it IS the TF movie he's working on in that photo? It's not like that photo says or shows anything about anything in the film. Might as well be a photo of him on the crapper. Are people THAT eager for any news on the movie that this photo is exciting?
  14. I hope this line has a long life. The only thing that I think has the potential to kill it is the price. I personally don't mind the price (if I want something I'll get it regardless) but I have heard a lot of people bemoan it. Can't wait to pick up the EVA.
  15. I'd like to see T-28 (Fatty) in this line as well. Bebop and Champloo characters would be next on my list. For as popular and well known as Bebop is, there has yet to be made a truly excellent and posable Spike figure.
  16. "What the hell is an aluminum falcon??" That was priceless!
  17. I'm not sure what it is, maybe it's just me, but those pictures seem to make the Classics figures look...cheaper...or something. They just don't look as impressive as the earlier photos. I still totally dig them.
  18. Damn, my parents sound like the exact opposite of a lot of those mentioned here. My dad always told me I should take really good care of my toys because one day they'd be collectors items. I wasn't concerned with that at all as a kid, but he was right, they did become collectors items...and I'M the collector!
  19. I had a favorite toy: Soundwave (with Ravage tucked away in his chest). I also had a really good friend who's nickname was "coon", because he was known for stealing things (like a racoon), although I had never witnessed anything. Coon really liked Soundwave, always wanting to play with him when I brought him to school. One chilly December Friday afternoon as we were waiting for our buses, I was fiddling around with Soundwave and Coon asked me if he could borrow Soundwave and play with him over the weekend. I didn't really want to part with my favorite toy for a couple days, but I was a generous kid and I liked to share, so I told him it was OK, as long as he made sure to bring it back Monday. Monday came, and it was obvious that Coon didn't have Soundwave with him. I asked him about it, and he told me that he had gone ice-fishing with his dad over the weekend. He had taken Soundwave with him. Soundwave had, apparently, fallen into the hole in the ice and was consumed by the icy depths. I never fully believed Coon, and from that day on I never lent him another toy. The bastard probably has Soundwave sitting on a shelf right now.
  20. Top of my list sits the Macross (SDF-1). Fully transformable. ANY scale.
  21. I like the new Bumblebee, he looks basically like an Alternator. I'd prefer him a little less, uh, 'ricey', but whatever. Of course a VW Bug would have been better, but we all know why he's not.
  22. Megatron's sculpt is very nice. Although the colors aren't quite as obscene as many other Transformers, I would still like to see him in a silver/grey/black/red deco. I might make him my first repaint project.
  23. I'll buy the trailer if it's ever offered seperate, but I have no use for TWO MP Convoys. As for the Classics line, I like most of them, although each one has little things that bug me. The unsightly arm kibble on Prime, the weird and wonky arms on Hot Rod (not to mention his child-bearing thighs), the afterthought-feet of Astrotrain... None of those things will keep me from buying these toys, to be sure, but they are irritating since they could have been easily avoided. Starscream I probably wont be getting since the MP Starscream is, so far, the superior of the two. Can't wait to see Soundwave. He's the one I'm most looking forward to.
  24. Looks better than anything currently in the theaters.
