  1. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy when I can lure others down the same destructive path.
  2. HLJ still has both: Hobby Link Japan
  3. I love the fold booster on the 19, but the Fastpacks leave me pretty cold. They look good in Battroid mode, but the leg armor falls off at the slightest touch, like the magnets are too weak. And in fighter mode I don't even bother putting them on because the shoulder parts wont line up and when I snap the wings into the leg armor the wings pull the armor away from the legs and looks really bad. Are they all like this or did I just get a cruddy set? Or do the parts not fit as well on a first-release 19?
  4. I think all the new classics look pretty good. The design of Prowl in particular really evokes the gee-won aesthetic, and reminds me of a simplified Alternator, which is a good thing. I'm still feeling relatively 'blah' towards Transformers in general, so I'm not sure if I'll be getting any of them. I guess I got burnt out on TF last year. I am eagerly looking forward to the animated Bulkhead I have on the way though.
  5. Hooray, I got my payment request from HLJ. Not long now! As for Beagle, I think the artwork we've seen looks excellent, but I'm not going to get excited for their offering since they're not a company who makes transforming toys and I have no idea what to expect from them. I believe 'cautiously optimistic' is the term.
  6. Is it delicate because of build or because of it's small size?
  7. HLJ should be emailing me for payment any day now. Those pics look fantastic, and it's nice to see there are painted faces under the helmet.
  8. Gah! I need the B&W T28. Always been a sucker for B&W fatty. Any idea where or what he's an exclusive to?
  9. Looks better than the Toynami/Aoshima, I'll give it that. I want to see battroid mode.
  10. Thanks for the pics, that looks fantastic. Now she just needs a 1/6 scale Tachi to squeeze into.
  11. If you really want to check out one, I suggest you buy one from BBTS. They have the lowest price for this thing and if you get a bad one you can ship it back to them (they'll mail you a paid UPS label) for a full refund or store credit. Just don't be surprised if you get one as bad or worse than the one I posted pictures of. Easily THE worst toy I've ever laid my hands on.
  12. The only way I'd possibly consider seeing this is if Ringo Starr and Dennis Quaid reprised their roles as Atuok and Lar. And more dinosaurs would have to get high from prehistoric marijuana berries.
  13. Oh, I like that! I'll be watching this one with interest. By not MMS, do you mean it's not a kit?
  14. And then there are folks like myself who couldn't care less about line-art. It's also my opinion that Toynami's is junk. Wait, that's more of a fact than an opinion so I take that back.
  15. Yeah, that's the 'planned' date. My 2012 comment was a bit of sarcasm based on the fact that Toynami's releases are always extremely delayed. Sometimes by years.
  16. I'm with you on the Ride Armor, CM's offering is my favorite so far (not counting Beagle's, which is only pictures at the moment). I probably sound like a freakin' CM's cheerleader but I actually don't even own any of their toys aside from one Roy figure, which barely counts.
  17. Well, apparently the CM's is due any day now. Release date is January. I think MH is due February. Toynami's is due sometime around 2012.
  18. Unfortunately I don't like to play with pictures, so the Toynami is worthless to me. As for the CM's being 'horrid', well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend. Hey, Toynami started it when they took that thing out of the oven before it was done. And as EXO said, the Toynami is nice in pictures. Just like a Big Mac.
  19. And the argument continues...
  20. I'm still amazed people can be more forgiving of Toynami's Legioss than the CM's. That just seems like Bizarro-World sentiments to me after seeing what Toynami's abortion was like.
  21. I agree with everything you said. I've always seen the Legioss as a sort of unaerodynamic flying brick. It's like half jet and half tank, which is actually the qualities about it that I love. I've got plenty of valks for the sex-ay sleek fighter jet aesthetic. As for the green and red, I love the colors (although the green looks a lot different in the recent scans - probably due to the scan) and the head sculpts look great. The red is actually my favorite Legioss head, but I've always preferred the blue color so I typically go for blue. If I had money shooting out of my pores I'd find a way to buy all three.
  22. So true. I think I have more 'cheap' toys with a matte finish or paint than ones that are glossy or plasticy. But overall matte or glossy means nothing in terms of plastic quality or construction.
  23. I don't really get the same feel from Sunstreaker that I got from Classics 1. He looks like the bastard son of Alt Mirage and Alt Sideswipe.
  24. Thanks for the scans Graham. Can't wait to get this set!
