a GN-U YF-19 and the 1/60 YF-19 are both toy's, would you say they're comparable. The Bandai 1/100 and the Yamato 1/60 really are like comparing apples and oranges. The 1/60 is basically a prebuilt model. The VF100’s are most likely a going to be relatively affordable action figures that sacrifice PT in order to maintain durability and look. And to think that any of the VF100's won’t be partsformers is frankly delusional. They’re going to be partformers guarantied. They may not require parts swapping, but they’re at least going to be like the old v.1 1/60’s

best guess is that the ships are like bee hives, and they provide better weaponry than idividual vajra. and as far as we can tell the vajra ships grown and are living things just like the smaller vajra.

scary part is they'll probebly do this in 4 or 5 years after they've had time to milk the crap of the 1/60's then 4 or 5 years after that, they'll come out with a line of Frontier toy's, but they'll be in some new weird scale like 1/52 or something, so it doesn't match anything we already have. so they'll start doing v.2 mac0 valks and v.3 plus valks and finaly v.4 VF-1's

also, something that doesn't need to be F***king painted or decaled in order to not look like crap. honestly, the toy looks like crap, but so does the model if you don't have the time/skill in order to propery detail it. bandai needs to give us a PG kit that's 1/48 or 1/32 scale, and is prepainted/have pop in peices that are molded in the correct color. (tempo printing would be good too)

so you'll be waiting twenty years for the theoredical Yamato release.

are you sure hat Guma used stickers and not decals? they look like decals to me. and what exactly are foil decals?

does anyone know about what ratio I should use to get the same finish as the plasitic in a bandai model if I'm mixing tamiya Flat base with Future, and spraying it over stait plastic. I'm planning to get one of the VF-25's and I'm hoping to only need to clear coat the area's that have decals on them.

I find it interesting that everyone's looking forward to the Yamato version, even though one will NEVER COME OUT. seriously fokes, it aint gonna happen, just move along.

you would think that, until you personally have an arm snap off of your $200+ toy anyway's I'm still holding out hope that it'll look better once it's actualy painted and not all floppy. bright side is I can get two 1/72's with action bases for the price of the second alto I'm not getting. (damnit jumping on the band waggon at least I'm not getting another VF-1)

considering the short bridge shot during the galaxy's call for help the galaxy bridge may be more submerine like and be rather dark with nothing but TV monitors. ( like BG's bridge)

really have mixed fealings about this one. Iactualy think the batroid looks good, I like the detail and perportions. but I'm a bit iffy about the fighter mode. just seems to lack details, too toy like. on the bright side at least it'll be nice, sturdy, and toy that can actualy be played with. looks like I'm going to end up getting the model kits for good detailed models

and can you remember the all the designations they gave to each destroid off the top of your head? I can't but I remember all the VF designations. YF-21 frankly has a better ring to it then YVF-21 (IMO) and sounds more concurent to real world aircraft designations (like YF-22 and YF-23) also YF-21 sticks with you better than say, SDR-04 Mk XII.

Because having three letters doesn't sound as good as two Technically they should be YVF if they were to accurately fallow the tri-service designation system. Then again if they were to actually fallow that designation system correctly, then it should be YFV and all valks would actually be FV-X's since the V indicates vehicle type (other than fixed wing) which should come last. Proper letter order goes status prefix (Y, X, N etc.); basic mission (A, F, B etc.); and finally vehicle type (H, V, Q). also there's the tendency to skip series letters (the letter after the number) like going from A to d then to J then to S

Not really, if you look REALLY closely at the Vf-27 and how it transforms it's actually identical to the VF-25, which in turn is actually more like the YF/VF-19's transformation The similarities between the VF-27 and the SV-51 are all purely cosmetic. The three toed feet, the funky canards, and how the torso and winds look in batroid mode look similar, but they don't transform in anywhere near the same way. OOU its Sk reusing the elements that he currently likes putting on 'evil' mechs. in universe, it's probably a case of two designers in two different times independently coming up with the same solutions to similar design problems. (It happens in the real world.)

WHAT THE DEUCE?!?!? so does this mean the Battle Galaxy transforms, or that there's actualy a battle galaxy at all? I've alway's wondered how exactly the Galaxy as a ship was set up. is the Barney looking ship we've seen so far the whole galaxy (battle and civilian sections) or is it just the battle portion. also if it is the island section, where do people live, in the green disk things?

huh? to make line art? to color with? I cant think of anything that's good AND free. MS paint is the last thing to use. for making line art you really need Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw. anything less really won't yield good results. also you can make line art in Photoshop, but it's tedious as hell and not as good, I just do it because I suck at Illustrator.

again I really wish I had a better grasp of things like physics.
