I bought my first compressor from harbor freight, just about the same thing. the thing on it that looks like a moisture trap doesn't work all that well, and it lacks an adjustable pressure regulator. also without a tank, you'll get pressure drops and moisture will build up in the lines even after. a compressor like that will be good of a small amount of work, but if you plan on doing a lot of painting, get something with a tank.

in theory the VF-3000 has less anime magic going on than the VF-1 since SK designed it from the beginning with the intent of making it into a 3D figure from the start. as for the VF-4, I think it could be done (heck it has been done) the only question is how well they adress a couple of issues. first there's the cockpit and ventral fin. the ventral fin is supposed to fold up and the cockpit sink down, essentially into each other. the other big issue is getting the thighs to slide from the middle of the engine nacelle to the intake preferably in a way that's better than how it's done on the SHE kit.

I'd rather have the VF-4G from Macross M3, and the VF-14 from that game, and the VF-3000 and the variable glaug wouldn't be bad either... who has the licence for that game anyways? :edit: and just to be really rediculous, I'd also like a stampede Valkyrie

are you sure you don't just suck? admittedly the number of exploitable glitches is pretty bad, but other than that it's no worse than CoD4. the use of Juggernaut and martyrdom is just a prevalent in CoD4 as it is in WaW and the spawn points aren't any worse (not that that's saying much). And I like the presence of tanks and dogs. the tanks are fun to use and make the game more interesting, and if you use a bit of planing and strategy there easy enough to work around. also dogs are way better that the helicopter. killing a helicopter is at least twice as hard as taking out a tank now and you don't even get anything for all the work. the dogs are easy kills and you get 3 points a piece for killing them (I've been on the elevated catwalk in roundhouse and killed dogs running around on the ground with a hand gun, I've also killed 3 dogs in a row with a knife and no damage, they're easy to kill) the only thing that really bothers me about WaW is artillery. I've never been in a situation where an artillery strike has been more helpful than harmful. all it manages to do is skrew up my movement while guys on the other team shoot me from outside the blast area. -

all right, update time! I finally finished up the battroid mode. and I made a feeble attempt at coloring this thing, I decided to do a VF-103 Jolly Rogers scheme. the colors are all there but I haven't gotten around to shading yet since I'm frankly not sure how I'm not sure whether I like the white or the grey version better, originally I was leaning towards Grey, but the whites starting to grow on me. what do you all think? I've also got some revised information. (seriously though, if anyone's got some advice on how to do shading, feel free to let me know.)

when did we get a good enough look at the inside of the Q-Rea to tell that she's actually fully seated? (I honestly don't remember) I kind of think that the Q-rea is a fair amount bigger than the Q-rau. Klan's size relative to the cockpit (i.e. size of her head vs. the mechs head, her shoulder width vs the width of the cockpit) seemed about the same as as a pilot in a Q-rau. it just seems like since Klan is apparently bigger the Q-rea is also up scaled a similar amount.

well if you're considering seriously downsizing it, do you mind if I barrow the idea? it gave me an interesting idea that I'd like to flush out more if you don't mind. by the way, with super packs I would think you could still mount armor on the lower legs. I know you need cleance for the missile racks, you could probebly get away with having the armor move out of the way when the missiles launch. (it worked on the YF/VF-19's it should work here.)
