Samething here. Got into Robotech, then got pissed that there were no new stories...Then did some reaserch and found macross, and the whole Robotech/macross thing....Now I'm a big Macross fan......With no life unfortunilty. Ditto. Robotech started it for me in the 5th grade. Untill we found out the truth it was a great TV show. Now I am big Macross fan too because of it. I agree it was a hack job but a hack job the got some of us here today buying Macross products now too. I do not look at it as a bad moment in history but a begining for US fans to be expose to the Japanese Animation that the rest of the world was allready enjoying. Carl had to do a job to fit requirements beyond his control. Because of him 80% of the stuff I collect is Macross/Robotech related. That reminds me THANK GOD FOR YAMATO 1/48. He deserves it in my book. Do not hate the player just hate the game(US Censorship).

The only one I have is the Wing Zero and I liked that one. Only saw the RX-78 for the first time today. It did not grab my attention to want to by it.

Size should not matter it is the quality. Example diamond rings are very small but can cost in the thousands because of their quality. If the MPC are built well no one will complain but if they are like the Rick MPC as far as quality then $20 will be all they are worth. I will get this first one to see how it is plus my IMAI model is wrecked. If it is crap I will post it the same night it comes for all those who are waiting for first hand comments. As long as the joints are tight and it holds up well in all modes I will be satisfied. Then wait for my Beta to come out.

The 1/60's are still nice. I mainly just display them now. The 1/48's have taken over. I do not plan to get rid of only 1/60's anytime soon. The VF-1D, VE-1 and VT-1 you got to love them.

Well the toys, When I saw the show I said wow transforming F14 Tomcasts. That did it for me because at the time the F14 Tomcast was my favorite plane. I like the rest of the Valks ever since.

Good abservation. The General knew the Ghost was going to win anyway. Isamu found it out and was very upset. I am still glad they used up dated versions of both in Macross 7.

I am a hard-core fan because I like all of the Macross shows because it was Macross. Macross 7 was not as outstanding as most would agree but still likeable. The first 20 or so eps with Basara singing did annoy me. It grew on me and I did start to like it. When he started singing Power To The Dream his singing was more bearable. I take that biker Rex over Minmay or Lisa any day. It is just personal preference to me. It was good to see Max and Miriya again.

I have notice the same thing lack of new Gundam figures on shelves beside G and SD Gundam. I still want for the US release of the 2nd Version Wing Zero. TRU, Target and Walmart the shelves are bare at times. I think Zeta is going straight to DVD from what I heard and SEED to air in April on Saturdays. That would be a feat because SEED would need some butchering to make it even Adult Swim viewable. I saw the commercial too for the SEED figures and hope they hit the shelves soon. Hopefully airing more Gundam will get fans of all ages buying more Gundam. SD right now is not doing it for me. G Gundam never did it for me so I let those figures stay on the shelf.

The VF-0 for the price is not bad just a little tweaking and it will be fine The SV-51 looks awesome. The Q-Rau box has a lot of wasted space in it. The VF-1J Max color looks a lot better.
