Naw... I'll be keepin my SOCs, still haven't gotten the Yellow Unit 00. Those prices are insane seeing as how the yellow Unit 00 doesn't seem all to expensive on eBay (last I checked).

I'm hoping they just do Eva-01 or my SOC Evas are gonna feel like wasted money...

SPOILERS I don't read the manga but the pale skinned guy is Sai, Sasuke's replacement. The fourth guy you get a glimpse of in Shippuuden's first episode teaser is Yamato, the new squad sensei.

For me the problem with the BP8 was caused by what I think is an easily overlooked step in the instructions. When I got my first Yamato 1/48 I transformed it fine. Then I tried putting the FAST packs on and the BP8 kept flopping down. So I tried pushing the BP8 more thinking it would make it tighter. Such a stupid mistake and I felt so bad. But after discovering MacrossWorld I was glad to see I wasn't the only one who broke their BP8. Even though I learned to push the backplate in all the way now, it always scares me that something might happen when I remove the FAST packs off of my 1S because of the wobbling. I always have to tried to hold the center still while wiggling the boosters out. The VF-0 shoulders just seems like it can't handle a lot of stress. Mine cracked due to overtightening of the top screw when reassembling the arm after putting a top coat on the ball joint. I've been hearing quite a few members saying theirs broke upon recieving 0As. Other than the VF-0 and VF-1 I don't have enough Yamato's to say my opinion on fragility. I wouldn't say their super fragile. It's just certain parts on each figure that have their flaws.

Turns out the crack was more severe than it looked. It looked very minimal because it was being held together by the peg and the top at the top screw. When that got dislodged I saw it was actually on the verge of snapping clean off. But I squeezed some glue in the crack, and it's better than new.

The list counts both broken 0A and 0S. I'm on the list and mine's a 0S.

Thanks for the pics, too bad mine's damaged in a different way. I need some advice on how I should go about fixing mine. It's only cracked on the surface, I looked inside the ball joint and nothing broken through to that side yet. I'd stick some epoxy on the outside but the outer shoulder armor needs to sit flush against the arm to work properly and with epoxy on the outside it won't work. Such a dilema...

Hey can you post a picture of the shoulder with the armor off? I want to glue mine but it looks like I might not have enough clearance for the shoulder armor if I do.

Well if worst comes to worst you can always just do a straight recast of the original shoulder piece right? It would be better than have broken or cracked ones.

The AnimeEigo set was made long before this recent HD craze. And correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't HD be pretty useless on cartoons?

So just a couple questions since I have a broken 0S. a) To replace the shoulder piece I'd have to crack open the bicep armor since they're glued together correct? b) Is there a screw beneath the bicep armor on the 0S? c) Will the recasts be 100% compatible with the 0S?

So does Amenbo require you to pay for preorders in full or do you pay when it arrives like HLJ? I'm thinking of getting my VF-0A Shin set from them... The YF-19 looks so sweet.

Man that would be a lifesaver. Perhaps a thread to create interest should be made? I'd grab a set in a heart beat. But to replace the shoulder piece I'd have to get the bicep armor off right? And they're glued together correct? Either way, I still need a fix for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If someone can change the thread title then I don't see why not since I need some more help. Upon reassembly of the shoulder section of my VF-0S I went about putting the screw back in. But oh no! I did it to tight and a crack formed. Looks like pretty nasty crack too. At first I kinda ignored it and just put the shoulder cover back on. Transformed it into fighter mode. Then transformed it back. After 1 transform it hasn't broken into a seperate piece yet so there may still be hope. After that transform I took off the shoulder cover and haven't touched it since. So what should I do? Just put some glue over the crack? What's some really strong glue and where can I get it? Here're some pics. [attachmentid=39215][attachmentid=39216]

Same thing happened to me at the shoulders with my 0S about a week ago. Turned it too tight and I saw a crack. Luckily it didn't break into pieces, it's still holding together but I'll have to glue it to reinforce it.

Well actually I haven't preordered yet, nor have I ever from HLJ which is why I'm asking. I'd like to be sure of getting this set but if I found it for cheaper after release I wouldn't want to be stuck with the preorder which is why I asked if you could cancel at any time. I guess that sorta answers my question.

Just have a question about HLJ. Can you cancel pre-orders at any time? Like right when they ask me to pay for my item? Just incase I find it cheaper somewhere else.

I finished the game almost a week ago, I'm just collecting the remaining extras in the game (pretty much just the Poes). Pieces of Heart were easy to find in TP. Putting two in each dungeon was a great idea, in the other games it can be bothersome if you don't have a FAQ. I got 18 and 3/5 by the last dungeon in TP without a FAQ; what a breeze. Anyone else think they should make the bosses tougher or deal more damage? I know that I never died in a boss battle, and I think I only needed to heal once (early battle when I had few heart containers). Only time I died in the game was: a) Drowned. Hey I thought you'd just gradually lose hearts like in OoT and MM. b) Cave of Ordeals. That last level is freakin tough. Totally forgot about my Magic Armor the first time through. Second time was much easier with the Magic Armor.
