My first was a Yamato 1/60 VF-1D, started my trip into macross insanity.

That Prime costume was awesome, the others were kinda silly though.

Woo, got mine in yesterday! Its incredibly small (ill post pictures later of it next to a 1/48 vf-1) but suprisingly heavy. Comes with lots of cool gimmicks like the pistol holster on the leg and the such. The little lights on the shoulders are kinda cool and the ability to switch pilots by changing the heads and shoulders is also neat. The display stand is nothing too special. I have two problems with this figure, 1.the switch on the back to turn the lights on and off is very fragile and i already broke mine 2. for what you get its still alot of money to be spending on such a little thing. Still its pretty nice and i recommend it.

With all these problems as of late, ill probably wait for the second run of the SV-51. Maybe i'll buy the set with extra boosters when that comes out.

Well, I still like my yf-19 but it coulda been alot better. Also coulda been alot worse. I just wish the price was lower for what we got, now Yamato wants $50 for some fast packs that dont even have interior detail? I'll pass on that deal.

Oh wow, I might actually buy that if i had the room. Right now my P-38 and Zero are taking up too much space.

The only 1/48 i've ever really wanted to see is a TV colors VF-1S that comes with 2 color correct pilots (Roy and Hikaru) ,the right stickers and TV fast packs. I'm hoping that yamato might release this for the 25th anniversary but somehow I doubt it.

Don't forget, the girl has to be in a sadly sexy position on the box.

Well, mine just broke, big time! On the right arm the uh.....(my digital camera is broken so u guys are gonna have to bear with me here) part that the sliding gray peice covers when transformed in fighter mode completey broke in half and came off. I wasnt really doing anything to god awful hard to it either, i was just moving the arm around. Sigh, guess I'm gonna have to start asking around for a full right arm replacement peice.

I have a question myself, do japanese ps2 games work on american ps3's cause I thought I heard something of that nature? If they do I am definately getting a ps3 (at some point at time in the near future).

I got my hikaru VF-1J a couple days ago, it is pretty nice compared to the first series. Not as wobbly and doesnt fall apart as easily, also the stand is kinda sturdier though I guess time will tell if this one breaks too. Theres nothing wrong with the neck size, it actually makes it look more human to me with a long neck. I'm hoping for series 3 (if toynami makes one) that they release a CF, VF-1D, and angel birds.

I like the gerwalk mode pictures, but other than that its pretty screwey.

All I wanna know is if the neck does that girraffe thing? Thats a must have gimmick.

Woo, a new sv-51 to add to my collection! I'm sure this thing will cost well over $200 but thats including a stand and hopefully the boosters.

I'd have to say the 1/60 VF-0S, Great detail and lots of panel lines (not painted of course) and I've always loved its sleek look. You can pretty easily fix the QC problem with the arms. The second version has been released by now anyways hasn't it? Did they fix the problems with the first or what?

I'd have to go with the YF-19. It's pretty much perfect, though I do love my LVII.
