Hmmm, Id have to say the worst is VA-3, that is just an awful design. The Eva (any number) is also very......well........odd.

I didnt feel like running through 4 pages, so if anyone asked this then call it a double request. Ask yamato what he thinks about NB4M's VF-1D mod for the 1/48 and if that would be a possible design for mass production. Also ask about the dobber custom scheme for the Sv-51. Thank you kindly.

Ooh lookin nice on that VF-1J. I always liked the forest combat scheme (though it never made much sense). Oh btw yeah I painted up a 1/100 toynami Roy VF-1S as a testbed for painting a 1/48 Roy to change it into a max 1S.

Ill wait till they make a hikaru 1S (if they ever do) before I buy one of these. The best VF-1 pose ever can only be done with 1 paint scheme.

Well, it may be 3 months away from 2008, but it isnt 3 months away from release. Probably more like 5 months till release. If we dont see anything new by the end of this month then next month there will definately be some new pictures to drool over.

Im not really impressed with these, the scheme seems like an afterthought like "Hey, the 25th anniversary is coming up, lets just repaint the VF-1S and YF-19 black with gold trim, tampo some words on and make them limited edition....we are going to make MILLIONS (manical laughter in the background)!" Ill save my money for something better.

Yeah the Low Viz 2 does look pretty feirce with sharkmouth and eyes, like a phantom jet. Try takatoys, they sell stickersheets with the sharkmouths on them.

That looks pretty good so far, yeah the feet are alittle small but it will probably change by the time it gets to proto stage (remeber the small wings on the Yf-19 cad). Maybe the upper torso will have an automorph gimmick .
