Well funny story, aparently konami's having a plethora (of pinatas ) of problems with the beta. Konami wasn't expecting so many people to log on and we overloaded the servers (which were being shared between the US, Europe and Japan) so the they shut down the beta for the US and Europe. They are trying to fix the problem and I've heard the earliest startup date is around the 25th, they also are saying they will extend the cutoff date for us so we get the full 2 weeks. So as it is now download the patch for 5 hours, get a Konami ID and sit back and relax for a few days. Sigh.....

Somethings telling me early to mid May sounds like the release time, I hope I'm wrong and its the end of April though .

Yeah it's a suprise but not all gundams are the same size. The difference in size between the original gundam and the Nu Gundam is about the same as the VF-1 and the VF-0.

Im with you on this Hikaru, the first 2 parts of the reveiw I was almost pressed to buy one since they seem to be THAT good, but after the 3rd part I easily turned away (sigh, why $300 ........ WHYYYYYYY!?).

So far it seems that the beta is turning out to be a mild fail for konami, codes that dont work, downloads that dont work, a konami id that you can't get..... I know its a beta but da-y-um thats bad .

Heh we know she wasnt a newtype because she almost got killed and destroyed the Alex fighting a garden variety Zaku (albeit with some extra boosters but still a zaku none the less).

I'll beleive it when I see actual prototype pics. Then I will buy that because that is a pretty neat idea and I need a new bluetooth headset anywhoo.

Sigh, all the madness, all the different story arcs in different realities, all the crazy plot devices and hundreds of Gundam designs and shows...... now I remeber why I got out of Gundam . Gundam is fun for awhile but it just gets too damn tiring to keep up with all of the shows (if you are going to be a completist that is).

Oh to be a gundam newbie again, so many series, so many gundams, so little time ! Anywhoo for your standard model kit that wont dissapoint, has plenty of features, and is averagely priced go for the 1/100 series. The 1/144 are really just kiddy models (sorry to anyone who disagrees). The 1/60 line is quite badass but are intricate and moderately hard to put together. Oh yes, bandai makes up tons of things that pertain to gundam as to sell more toys/models. If you needed a list of gundam series to watch heres a few. Mobile Suit Gundam (try for the 3 movies, shorter and cathes all the main points of the series) Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (one of the best sequels and regarded by some as the best of the entire gundam saga, watch the series if you can) Chars Counterattack (Only a movie but it wraps the orignal timeline up fairly well) FINALLY 8th MS Team (IMHO the best gundam OVA made, definately worth a watch) Heh, hope I helped .

Yeah I guess Uwe might be a step up wouldn't he. Frankenfish is a made for Sci-Fi movie pretty much, it was about people trapped on a houseboat with some kinda FRANKENFISH attacking them in the bayou. Heres a poster for it . I wouldn't recomend seeing it.

Macrossworld has always been about nitpicking, complaining and arguing. Its never gonna change . Plus we need things to talk about before the aparent late April/early May release date so it has come down to comparing a model to a mass produced toy. In my opinion the thing looks perfect, whats is it with you people and your chubby leg fetishes.

I got my saga 2.0 as well! It was an ok watch but kinda left out some serious plot points (such as foxdie), of course it does encompass all 6 major games. I liked that they had the trailers for the game on the disk as well, nice touch! Now all that remains to be seen is if MGO is a SOCOM clone when we play the beta.

Yeah the VA-3 is part of the 1/200 line along with the YF-19 and VF-1. Anywhoo just a day away........ and then a few weeks of waiting for shipping and the such, sigh .

This actually isn't that wonderful looking in fighter mode, must be more centered around battroid this time around. Oh well, at least we all have the 1/48's to fall back on. I'll still be a yamato stooge though and buy one of these, but only if the make a Max 1S or a TV VF-1S (which we all know will never happen, why yamato hates the tv 1S I'll never get).
