    Ah happened to me once. I was dusting the entertainig center in my room (old piece of furniture I have the tv on) and put the valk on my bed, I sat for a moment and 'crunch' the front landing gear collapsed but nothing bad happened. Another time the damn cat threw it (the same valk in gerwalk mode this time) from where it was. The valk hit a lower shelf then the floor but when I picked it up the toy was still in one piece. Apparently the 1/48's are sturdier that they look/feel.

    I understand the whole thing about living in this time and not clinging to the past. But there's nothing wrong about having your own personal tastes and not following every new trend.

    Macross has changed in order to fit the mainstream. You know: more nudity, more violence, more gore, more 'coolness', etc. It is what it is. It's following the path of everything else in the media. Some of us don't like it, some do like it and some pretend to like it. For me it's kind of like a bittersweet experience, I like bits of it but that's it. At the end of the day no matter how much I love macross it's just one of my many hobbies.
