I really tried to give Basara and macross 7 a chance, but then I watched macross 7 encore: "the fleet of the strongest women" (even the title sounds stupid!) and the final scene was like a slap in the face! Then I realized that M7 is actually a show 'for kids only' and because of that a necessary evil for the franchise.

DEFINITELY #1: MAX!!! But I think Roy is my favorite. He's the more bada%s of all, plus his valk is my favorite valk ever!

Well I agree it's not all bad but I like the more realistic style of macross plus even when the M7 VF-19 looks sleeker than the YF-19 as you say.

It sounds like Macross Frontier will be something like Macross 7. Me? I'd like to see something set during and after SW1 featuring Destroids and some new variants of the classic VF-1. I guess I'm old fashioned but I don't think the classics ever got enough screen time except for the hero Valkyries. No more macross kids shows please! and I'm sorry to disagree pal but we don't need more vf-1 variants or redesigns.

I actually just want a small set ('67 Ford Mustang, '69 Dodge Challenger, '69 Chevy Camaro...) because I don't have much space in my room . But thanks for the advice.
