In 2050 as a member of a VF-X team (where I'm the only male pilot) I would fly a VF-1X PLUS (S-type of course) and occasionally taking the VF-19A for a ride. That's style my friends!
Or in 2040 as one of those lazy pilots at New Edwards Base on Eden obviously piloting a VF-11B.
Yamato 1:60 is the future man, don't waste your money on Bandai's merchandise. Yamato's valks are the only ones wich make justice to Kawamori's designs.
I really think yamato designed this new VF-1 for a complete different purpose than they designed the 1/48 version. So, the comparisons apart from the sculpt are just pointless to me.
Two more:
1- A single crappy lovesong can stop an entire fleet of thousands and thousands of wild, blood thirsty giant warriors no matter what.
2- The complexity of all mecha or combat vehicle is proportionally inverse to the easyness to operate it.
Well, it seems like we already have the future love triangle very clear in the first episode: Ranka-Alto-Sheryl. It´s a little weird to me 'cause Ranka is too young, just like in M0, Mao is too young for a bizarre love triangle.
