Yeah, a lot of great stuff in Macross 7 I have to admit it. M7 sounds and looks great 'til you see the atual thing. Except for the opening I like it a lot.

I don't really think one is better than the other. I think, for the first time for yamato it's te same good looking valk-toy just in different scales. But I have to admit that the 1/48 is still the ultimate VF-1 toy for me.

Same here pal, in my opinion DYRL is the best. Maybe 'cause is my favorite Macross ever! The zentraedi designs are really badass (characters and mecha). Kazutaka Miyatake is a truly genious! About the SDF-1 I like both designs a lot. Again thank's to Mr. Miyatake. About the characters they're 'the same but better' Mr. Mikimoto is the best character designer ever and that's all ok! And OMG! the VF-1 looks way cooler with just a few small changes.

If they're going to explain the protoculture issues like they did in M7 I far prefer the protoculture to remain in the shadows.

Like Graham I'm not a big fan of PVC toys, but damn! this revoltechs are looking greeeeeaaaaaaat! I'm definitely getting '19 and '21. I always wanted figures that looks exactly like Kawamori's lineart. Of course I'm saving for Yamato's 1/60 too. It would be awesome if they release a line with fighters and gerwalks too!
