  1. That was created from an actual side view size comparison drawn by Studio Nue (Regult to the Queadol-Magdomillia's bow section). I resized it accordingly.
  2. yeah there are plenty of mistakes on that site...
  3. There was enough room.... multi-level structures are the key-with the gravity control system allows vehicles and even people to be live and operated on the overhead-inverted. This can be seen in the movie. http://nanashi.macrossmecha.info/resrc/cat...-schematic.html
  4. I will compare the different versions of the Macross soon. Yes there will be other ship charts. I will probably release them seperately for each Government/Affiliation, then I may try to but one together that compares all ships.
  5. Movie version was 1200 exactly from what I remember, the TV version was slightly longer. The refitted Macross ("movie version") was approximately 1200 meters in length, while the as rebuild ("TV version") was 1210 meters in length.
  6. 250 meters are their length.... one could speculate that the larger transport ship (LST) could also dock light transports inside-for personnel/mecha units transfer. Also see: http://nanashi.macrossmecha.info/resrc/cat...sport_ship.html
  7. It would be a smaller in length than the medium-scale gun destroyer on the diagram. 1200m (approx.) compared to 1500m (approx.)
  8. For your information and enjoyment: http://nanashi.macrossmecha.info/resrc/cat...uedy-sizes.html Note: not finished yet-more to come : ) -WJ
  9. "rectification fan" sounds like it does the same thing a boost compressor does
  10. I see.... I stand corrected then. Thank you.
  11. How do you figure that? When forward is a direction (on the x-axis), left or right and dorsal refers to an above/top surface (y-axis direction away from/perpendicular to the x-axis)?
  12. See: http://manuals.macrossmecha.org/vf1/valkyrie_fuel.html (includes unofficial specifications by MAT/Masahiro Chiba) Note that the diagram has the label of "Sub Compressor/Rectification Fan"--this is because it the second turbine fan set.
  13. The Shinnakasu/P&W/Roice FF-2001 has turbine blades and the P&W super-conducting ram air compressor in front of the FF-2001 also has its own turbine blades.
  14. hai dozo: http://nanashi.macrossmecha.info/resrc/cat...w_hmm-2040.html Discussion anyone?
  15. This was discussed long ago. Yoko Kanno is a fan of Aphex Twin.
  16. The information found on that page is unofficial. I did not over make it up. As Egan has stated "Guantanamo" is not the class of the stealth ARMD Carriers of Macross 7. And only a freaking Robotech fan would call the ARMD Space Carriers "ARMD Platforms" : P

  18. For anyone who wants to few the VF-1 factory schematic they can see it here: http://manuals.macrossmecha.org/vf1/schem/...-schematic.html (a while back I started work on a VF-1 manual)
  19. The VF-1D is a Dual seat version Variable Fighter which is used as a trainer, a forced recon unit and can be used as a combatant with live-fire rounds. The proof that it is used as a trainer is the fact that 'Stud Seat' (Student) and 'INST - CAPT - DAGGER" (Instructor) as well as VT-102 were written on the side of the cockpit. That is a good argument, and has been mentioned in this thread, the problem with it is the circumstancial nature of the evidence. Not every VF-1D is going to have 'VT-102' stamped on it's side, is it? Also, unless 'Dagger' is some sort of airforce/naval term, is 'Capt. Dagger' going to be listed on all of the rear seats of every VF-1D? I do believe it is a fair assessment that Hikaru's VF-1D, VT-102, was a trainer, but does that really mean that all VF-1Ds are trainers? No. Not all VF-1Ds are trainers. It is not a dedicated training variable aircraft. That would be the VT-1 Ostrich. The VF-1D is a simply a two-seater version. That's what it is period. The VF-1D can and has been assigned roles including: trainer and forced reconnaissance. Of course it is a fighter as well.

  21. Those black circles with the line running through (the only thing I could find labeled "vernier thruster")? I thought it's been said that those are thrusters. What are you saying they are? The vernier thrusters located rearward on the dorsal surface in front of the main engine nozzles are mislabeled as being lights. In Kiyomi Tanaka (Studio Nue)'s VF-1S Battroid cutaway schematic they are labeled as vernier thrusters. These do not have the hook-handle bar feature. Interesting the Hasegawa Battroid model has them as lights not verniers (I think having verniers there is a good idea!!) Studio Nue member Kiyomi Tanaka might have been mistaken when he drew them as vernier thrusters. In the VF-X-1 prototype there were the same type of verniers, but on the opposite surface (front / bottom) of the leg/engines pods as drawn by Shoji Kawamori. These maybe composite optical sensor units (red in color, but sometimes depicted as being yellow) like the ones on the arms units (wrists). However, I would go with concept that they are vernier thrusters based on what is available.

  23. Here you go cobywan... I colored it so it would make a good BG. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uploads/po...-1080862886.jpg My goodness... more than half the labels on there are incorrect.
