  1. If you watch DYRL and pay close attention, just about all the characters have blue eyes.
  2. I don't know why its said that this is an animation error. Everything can't be animation error. Unless Egan Loo or Shoji Kawamori says so. LOL Anyways, in the second you can clearly see that the pistons move out of the arm unit, the top weapon's cover does not have enough depth to cover the diameter of the barrel and the hole is not the same color as the weapons option it appears to be black-like a whole. Since the YF-19 cannot transform into Fighter mode with these things attached, then it would make sense that this is a Heavy Weapon option for Battroid-use in which the panels on the arm are removed and the hand simply does not slide back in until the option is ejected if it can be ejected. That is my speculation on things. When you watch the animation it looks like weapon pack does out of the arm. Its possible.
  3. Sweet! So, I got a limited release for 1200 Yen?? : )
  4. Hmmm perhaps on a production design sheet.... I can't think of a source that has a larger image off the top of my head. Just the jungle covered wrecked version... well I tried to help oh well.
  5. Hey everybody, I love the Doyusha diecast Valkyries. I thought I had them all, but recently I found one on Yahoo! Japan I had never seen before. I checked in the Macross Compendium and Macross World. Its not listed there. Here are the pics of it from the auction. Once I get it in the mail I'll take better photos of it. It seems to be a limited edition or maybe even a commemorative single one of a kind piece. Though, I never heard of any contests of anything. Thought you all might be interested in hearing about this:
  6. Also there is no such thing as a "VF-1MS". The 'Metal Siren' is called simply the 'Metal Siren". It does not have an official model designation.
  7. I don't believe it would produce a plume that large if it was that small. If it was coming from the shoulder vernier, then yes, that plume is about the right size for that nozzle. If you guess the origin of where that plume is coming from, it would be right at the tip of the shoulder, right where that shoulder vernier is not the FAST pack. if you take a look at the shoulder detail from the yf-19 model in the june 2002 model grphix, it looks like it has three seperate thrusters... I think the plum comes from the rear facing shoulder thruster and not from the fast pack. zoomed in pic: Interesting....
  8. Awesome work! They look great. Only thing is the reserve nozzle should be red with a hole (black) in it and not orange and a portion of the wing tip section should be a yellow color.
  9. This is not a ship, but a heavy attacker (small craft). You can find information on the Golg Gants Charts (Zjentohlauedy Heavy Attacker) here: http://www.macrossmecha.info/nanashino/att...nts_charts.html
  10. "Medium-Scale Gun Destroyer"
  11. Which ship are you refering to? Officially, there is no Zjentohlauedy ship with that designation. Are you talking about the scout ship? It is more properly called picket (or picket ship) I know some fans have been mislead on the correct designations of ships. Unless, you are refering to the medium-scale gun destroyer (the ship Quamzin used at the end of the series)?
  12. No. That vernier is under the FAST pack. (courtesy of Steelfalcon.com) You can see the nozzle in the shoulder block. And if we look here: (again, courtesy of Steelfalcon.com) The nozzle has some clearance of the shoulder pack. There is no vernier on that shoulder pod. See what look like vent lines on the pods. I believe those are the origin. Remember there are such small-sized verniers. Take for instance, the VF-1's wing tip NBS-1 high-burn verniers.
  13. That is a seperate vernier. I am aware of that one. That's not the one which is being fired in the animation. Look at the origin of the plume [Note the curved lines] and also consider its angle and position. The burn isn't coming from beneath the shoulder.
  14. "vernier thrusters" on dorsal-mounted conformal fuel tank/fast pack
  15. Actually its a vernier cluster. Check the animation. The Macross Compendium has the following to say about the YF-19's shoulder FAST Packs: - two FAST Pack conformal propellant tanks mounted above dorsal nacelles in Fighter mode or to the sides of shoulders in GERWALK and Battroid modes. Graham Yes. That is what they are. They also feature verniner thruster according to the animation.
  16. Actually its a vernier cluster. Check the animation.
  17. Hmm... you are right. Interesting. I thought they would have goofed on that.
  18. You mean the plasma wasn't even on? Was that Munchkin, or did it hit a coolant line? Either way, that is incredible! The Plasma Spear was used. I don't believe any other weapons were used at the same time.
  19. "Plasma Spear" (Bandai Entertainment Bible #51 Page 103) That plasma spear blew up a flagship???? Yes, in whole or in part. I believe just the spear was used though....
  20. Computer control, acuators (shocks) and controls with lots of buttons and modes ^.^
  21. "Plasma Spear" (Bandai Entertainment Bible #51 Page 103)
  22. Today, I got the film adapter for my scanner today in the mail. This is the first thing I scanned. Something that hasn't been talked about much... The question is what are they? What they appear to be are.... barrel firing blue-ish plasma ball (?) dual-barrel impact/beam gun (?) 5 micro missiles (?)
  23. secret long lost source material mauhahah hahaaa
  24. Have you seen any other Macross site with VF-1SOL-S lineart? : ) It must be seen by fans.
