most art is not Robotech-made, with the exception of the comics and recent Tommy Y stuff.

to me, Macross-Minmay was almost (ALMOST) as bad as Robotech-Minmei. however, i love DYRL Minmay! she rocks. i actually had sympathy for her.

i'm glad you love Macross! but, like others have mentioned, there is no need to choose one and not the other. cake <--- eats it too

yeah, i hear you on that one. i mean... i think Macross Zero would be fine - if it were 10 episodes! i really hope they can satisfy me. not necessarily answer ALL questions - but at least the important ones that should be answered. i just think there isn't enough time.

i don't think anybody would argue that Robotech wasn't the first anime shown in America, or even most popular. however, it had a huge impact in terms of exposing a large number of people to anime for the first time. in that sense, Robotech was the weed of anime... a gateway drug to other more dangerous anime.

overall i think it looks pretty cool, although for some reason i was expecting it to be a little bigger. my only other gripe is that it doesn't looked as detailed as i hoped it'd be. of course, this could be due to the picture itself. overall, it looks very cool... just not sure if i'm gonna buy yet.

i thought the exact same thing. not that the idea itself is new in the Animatrix, but there are several very similar story aspects. we make machines to be our bitches... a single machine murders a human... humans over-react... machines fight back... then we all have holes in our bodies and are grown, not born. but still... it's will smith!

i'm just waiting for the eventual Robotech remastered, 100% complete, no more releases after this, all 3 saga box sets to come out. you know they will. i mean... regular mini box sets, regular box sets, regular individual dvds, and remastered mini box sets are not enough!

hmm... well, i think that pic makes it pretty clear that the 21's wings DO morph, as shown in the animation. as far as i'm concerned, the debate is over.

while i love the current design(s), i tend to agree... this box is definitely not "TV" Macross - which is what is going in the box after all. i mean... at least use a VF-1S Roy rather than a Hikaru Skull...

i don't know about a movie, but the Simpsons is still one of the greatest shows on TV. i'll cry the day it ends. really. i will. although i'm not sure how they plan to do a movie, i never thought that South Park could be a movie. but then it came out, and i laughed my ass off. so i'll just wait and see.
