  1. man,i got a 19.13%=GEEK but wait,is it possible to be a geek & still get lots of chicks?(yes, all you wise guys, they're hot chicks, ask vostok7 about how hot my girls are) geek, but still pimpin'
  2. although,i'm single now,all the girlfriends i've had in the past would have purchased any macross toy(or other) if they knew i wanted it. i guess the key is letting them know how important your hobbies are to you. when i took my girl to otakon in august. i had to stop her from buying me too much. she just said to pick what macross stuff i liked & she'd hook it up.
  3. i would guess it to be made out of a nylon-type webbing. leather wouldn't hold up to 40-foot tall mech wear & tear. hmmm, using it to tie up an "enemy". now i know why max never left that meltran ship he was in in DYRL?
  4. i remember seeing a model of the 1d w/ fastpacks(hagegawa?) i was just thinking how cool the 1/48 vf-1d would look with a set of those t.v. style fastpacks
  5. hmmm,a vf-1d would be awsome in 1/48,but the 1j IS being done in 1/48.the 1j hikaru is out now.you can get it either with or without t.v. stlye fastpacks(special release, different than the DYRL? strike/fastpacks)
  6. that is so freakin funny. i emailed it to everyone i know.
  7. my favorite nose cone is going to have to be the yf-19. if you look at it head-on,it reminds me of an SR-71 blackbirds. you know,if you stand in front of each plane & look at it from the front. i've always liked the oval look of the 2 planes' noses. gonna have to go with the 19's gunpod too. love the way you can eject the empty ammo clip & load another stored on the back of the shield
  8. wow that's fantastic jung. glad to see you back in the forums
  9. i'm 30 or as i like to say: 21 with 9 years experience. i currently own a low-viz 1/48,1/60 ve-1 elintseeker w/ a max 1/48 coming soon. over the past few years i've bought & sold prabably 30 other yamatos & bandais.saw rowboat-tech on t.v. when i was 5.got my first jetfire soon after
  10. yes,we all really appreciate you for doing this rob!!!
  11. maybe mao started taking the orthotricycline(the pill) it's been makin boobies big for many years now
  12. your creation was such a cutie it made me think of the persocoms from chobits.your cutie would be a perfect candidate for one!!! think of it your own cutie to be your personal walking computer themed as a macross valkyrie!!
  13. great job BoB!!! she's fantastic. now,do me a favor & make her into my own personal persocom would ya? thanks so much,i can't wait to INTERACT with her
  14. listen dude, these other members speak wisdom. if you parental units don't have any storage area, find somewere else. you won't regret keeping them.
  15. the cheapest way to do it would be to get a box of desicator. this is usually sold at hardware stores or storage places that sell boxes for moving. it's similar to that silicate gell someone mentioned earlier, but much stronger. i actually use it to keep the bilge area of my jetski bone-dry from condensation all winter during storage. it'll make it arid in that cabinet you have.
  16. i paid $150 for mine at otakon last august.it's high,but once i held it,i had to have it.i don't regret it 1 bit
  17. wow, that turned out great dude.definately show pics when you get the tail fins done.maybe some fastpack emblems too?
  18. wow devin, those new sets are incredible. your definately the decal king.can't wait to see those sets your releasing after thanksgiving
  19. thanks for doing this rob. your time is much appreciated!!!! count me in for 1 set.
  20. soon as i saw the t.v. fastpack kit i was thinking how good those hands would look on a low-viz.the one who recasts these would be swamped with orders
  21. maybe "monkey-nugget" would be able to help us out with the coupon thing.he's in japan.anybody pm'd him to ask yet?
  22. here's a picture of 1 of my current babies 1 of the reasons that it got my attention is that it has a striking resemblance to major kusanagi's handgun from "ghost in the shell"
  23. i guess what i really ment by the AK-47 being inspired by the sturmgewehr44 is that the 44 was what started the whole assault weapon chambered in a rifle cartrige.not anything more than the 44 being ground zero for that line of thought in the next era of assault weapons.i did see that show on history channel about the history of the german WWII era weapons.i believe they stated the production #"s for the 44 being 10,000 i think.if only the ones on the eastern front with a chance of surviving,i guess when the russians get back far enough in that warehouse to get to the captured lugers & walther's we'll start seeing more sturmgewehr 44's.damn,i always want the most elusive weapons.guess i'll just keep my sights on a norinco chinese AK-47/MAK-90 pre-ban chambered in 7.62mm.i just love that stock w/ the thumb hole grip. maybe a picture of the sturmgewehr44 will have to do for now
  24. any of you guys know of any good sites on the german ww2 era sturmgewehr 44 assault rifle? this tops my list for most wanted vintage guns.this was the worlds first automatic chambered in a rifle cartrige.this was the inspiration for my other favorite gun,the AK-47.better yet,any of you guys been lucky enough to have seen 1 in person or handle 1? i'll bet the the price on 1 of these is through the roof.
  25. question for you guys.i want to get an AK-47. the rumanian 1 goes for $250 & i've seen a nice chinese 1 going for $1200. i've heard the rumanian ones are crap, but what about the chinese ones? the 1 at my local gun store seemed to be really well made.was a while back that i saw it. how were the AK's affected by the ban? i noticed that i haven't seen alot of chinese ones lately.
