Aww shucks, Lonewolfe, you beat me to it. I was just pulling up my archive of Link artwork to do the same. my favorite design of Link s the Link to the Past? Link's Awakening one. I'm just happy they put REAL detail into Link's clothing. The Soul Calibur (and SSMBM) one always looked too bland for all it's enhanced graphics (was understandable why the N64 Link had minimum detail). So far the only thing I'm not liking is how Link is slowly morphing into Legolas. It seems he's even fighting a LOTR inspired Balrog like creature in one of the shots. (BTW the kids at the Nintendo.com forums are all going crazy)

I didn't think Arnold wa splaying Conan in Red Sonja and it's also not his fault Conan the Destroyer was a flaming pile of poo. I've been waiting for this film for a while but amd now scared. For continuity issues I'd like for the role to be played by Arnold. HHH would be a disaster or are they just trying to destroy the franchise completely?

Nice story? It was pretty nonsensical. A good part of it seemed to be an inside joke for an upcoming Wolverine spin off film starring Hugh Jackman! The whole need for Frankenstein is what was the most far fetched part. Reminded me of Magneto tieing Rogue to the Statue Of Liberty for a similar purpose in X-men. The movie was entertaining but it is crap.

It's taken me days to review this topic. While I agree with the premise something kept disturbing me. It just hit me what bothers me with this topic. 1) Since when did we look to television and the media as a whole as some kind of guidance for our children? So what if kids are watching Tinky Winky playing wink wink with Po on the Teletubbies? Now I don't care for the Teletubbies and could careless how many kids watch it, hate Barney as much as anyone else with common sense but do some of you believe children (and your own for that matter) need actual role models from television shows? I find that insane. I liked the live action Wonder Woman as a child but Lynda Carter was hardly my role model. My own parents that taught me how to stand up for myself and also look out for myself are and always will be my role models. Sure it was cool to pretend to be a member of GI Joe and She-Ra every once in a while but even then I never thought of them as role models. I can't fathom a make believe character being a role model. 2) The term "pussification of the media". I've heard it alot but I don't think I REALLY need to explain why this offends me like nothing else on this web site. I would prefer people try much harder to leave my genitals out of their problems with the media. Don't even bother with it being a metaphor becaus eit's just inaccurate on so many levels I don't want to go there you DEFINATELY don't want me to go there.

Yes, it did. That's a bit understandable becauses that's as close to a translation her name is when you romanize it from the Japanese characters but still they should ahve typed her name out correctly on the box if they were going to use western alphabet.

This is somewhat off topic but why do people always refer to Houquet's name as Fuke? Yes, I know there is no way Japanese spelling of Houquet and the closes romanji characterizing is "Fuke". However, why do we, who actually speak English and can WRITE French words with our very own alphabet fail to say and type "Houquet"?!?! Japanese to Engrish to French is one thing but there isn't any excuse when one doens't even need to know how to speak French! I'm sorry but I had to get that off my chest as it has bothered me for years and this thread was the straw that broke the camel's back. Also the mere fact French is my native language may play a role in this I realize. Oh, yeah, nice work on the armour, Sam.

Ah, thanks. They are both crap and blasphemous to the original Gatchaman if you ask me. Yet, I found G-Force with all it's extremely lame names was somewhat better given they didn't edit as much as BOTP was edited.

Thanks, I didn't know there was a manga. I'll seek it out. I also gotta say I don't care the opening and ending sequences of this series. Too much 'wanna be hip hop" in the opening and waaaay too much "Aya staring blankly" in the closing.

Wait, is it Battle of the Planets or "G-Force" (same show but totally different dubbing and amounts of editing).

Does anyone know how long this series will be for? 26 episodes or more? I know only about 4 or 5 episodes have aired in Japan so far. This is the first new martial arts anime I eally enjoy in a long time. I highly recommend it. I can't wait for more despite too much of Aya!! On the other hand I find Air Master really stupid.

See, bud, that why I never bought a ADV DVD release of the series. After their first "remastered" fiasco I made it a point not to buy EVA from ADV ever again. In afct I'm not even sure this one will be good. ADV tends to screw up at one point or another.
