Er...the comic was already scanned and online about a week ago. See that makes this stupid gag order all the more ridiculous. Shoulda figured it would have been leaked.

I'm not one of those folks. While I hated certain aspect os the show like the horrid Valkyrie designs, Basara's while admirable resolute ideals but overall stupidity, Mylene, and hearing Planet Dance every other minute... It's still not that abd story wise. A1 has issues with alot of the aesthetics but that's a pretty shallow reason to dislike the show no matter how stupid the VFs look.

What error? Are you talking about her knee? Noriko, personally I liked the uncropped version better. I always feel like cropped widescreen format simply takes away visual work that does exist. I feel the same about movies filmed in 16.9 widecsreen but then cropped to fit your TV. The thing is that the animators very obviously designed it to be cropped from the beginning. It's not like the just decided to lop off the top and bottom on a whim after the got done making it. There must have been a technical issue that prevented them from using the aspect they wanted, but if you look at the book that comes with the DVD, it is what was intended. I guess I'm going to have to review my DVDs. Didn't really notice other than what I saw as "minor" unfinished leftovers. Just brushed it off as corner cutting and deadline related issues (I'm not stranger to that). As for that shot of Jung, I still like the full screen version better.

Macross II - no Kawamori = not Macross Altho it did have nice music. I ony saw 10 minutes of it and saw enough (Hibiki or whatever is potentially more annoying than Basara) but I do have a music CD.

Too make it cute... Needs to be in a pink colored camo and a pair of chibi neko ears. -or- Forgoe the Pink, use a light blue camo color, keep the ears, and give it the personality of a tachikoma/fuchikoma. Ya know that's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. It is "cute" like a 'baby monster" and I can easily picture it with the personality of a tachikoma.

Solscud, yes.... it was a guy in a suit, held up with wires and support beam out the back...it was not real, wasn't even made of metal...and the design, speaking for itself, has lots of problems - number one is that it could not lift the cargo containers without some form of counter balance to offset the additional wieght placed on the design...additionaly it doesn't have the physical mobility in the legs to carry such loads... The power loader is true movie magic. Some contruction companies were so convinced it was real that they called 20th Century Fox wondering where they could order one.

Yes. I have between 2 to 4 episodes on tape and the old Sega CD game. It was one of the better shows released that year (next to the under-rated Mighty Max). I'd love to ahve all the epsiodes but I can see how the setting would make no sense to people tehse days. Never read the original comics which I heard could be pretty graphic at times. No, I'm waiting to see what the life span of the PSP is and how Sony's warranty pans out. Dead pixels were not the only issue the PSPs have had so far. Sony's response to a design flaw was not reassuring. So I think waiting is the best thing to do given Sony's track record like with the PS2s and all the hassles from it's initial run.
