  1. VF-25: First liked, then hated (long nose, hate SV-51), now liked. Currently liking both of the blonds. Don't know why but they sort of have Misa vibe to them. Can't warm up to the green haired one. If she were drawn a bit older then maybe. I'm a bit confused. The love triangle is between blue haired guy, green haired girl and the blond singer right? So what role does the other blond girl have? Or are we in for a surprise and the love triangle might become a four way thing?
  2. Graham please ask Yamato the following - If they can devise a locking mechanism for the chest area of the YF-19 in battroid mode - If they will make a new and revised VF-1 in 1/60 scale - About the current state of the Zero line (valks , issues, exchange parts etc.) Thank you.
  3. Lol, I downloaded this and checked that the video/audio codecs were able to play back on my standalone dvd player. To my astonishment I didn't see anything, so I checked video again and sure enough the resolution is to high... H264, vorbis, vfr, overscan, container formats and now resolutions. God, I miss the days were one could download, burn and watch the fansubs immediately...
  4. Just when you thought Sony Europe couldn't ram it up your a** any higher. The 60GB PS3 is going to be completely phased out in SCEE territories and replaced ONLY with the 40GB version. link So anybody that buys a PS3 later and still wants to play PS2 games will have to have 2 consoles under their TV. So lets sum up Sony's/SCEE's PS3 strategy for the year - 5 month delay - of course more expensive than USA or Japan - no emotion engine in our 60GB PS3s - a bunch of pathetic games - a "Value" pack that still nobody could afford - a 40GB PS3 stripped of almost everything Man and I thought floppy valks made me mad.
  5. The whole Zero line has become a total fiasco when it comes to the toys, the exchange parts and the communication with Yamato. It wouldn't surprise me if seasoned/veteran buyers are completely shying away from this release, until some poor newbie does the beta testing...
  6. I can't give you any details about the models you are interested in, but I can help you on some general info on Gundam models. HG = High Grade - 1/144 scale - considered as the "el cheapo" versions of models - not so detailed - no inner frame (= endo-skeleton of the gundam) - limited articulation MG = Master Grade - 1/100 scale - has inner frame - good amount of detail - plenty of articulation for a model - good amount of different models to choose from PG = Perfect Grade - 1/60 scale - considered as the be-all and end-all of Gundam modeling - inner frame - plenty of detail - plenty of articulation - includes electric wiring for lights (e.g. eyes of the Gundam) - not so many models to choose from - expensive HG, MG and PG model kits are pre-coloured and are snap-fit, so theoretically no paint and glue is required. For some clear shots of the models go here: http://dalong.net/ Hope this helps you out a bit.
  7. You know I'd like to see the Revoltech line touch some of the fighting game franchises. Imagine a line of Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, KoF, Tekken or Soul Calibur figures. It's basically a no brainer to earn some easy money...
  8. And anybody that proclaims this kind of rubbish cannot call themselves a true and tolerant Macross fan!!!
  9. And some peeps over here have the cheek to say scale doesn't matter when it comes to making/collecting these valks...
  10. Maybe they should slap on a yellow visor and call it Ver. K.A.(R.R.)
  11. The 25th valks look OK. But I was sort of secretly hoping that Yamato would give us an updated 1/60 VF-1S incl. Strike/fast packs in a nice commemorative box or something.
  12. 1/48 Hikaru VF-1S with or without Strike Packs This thing can be summed up with one word: solid! If the 1/60 YF-19 had some locking mechanism for the chest in battroid mode then it might of ranked it higher with me. The lack of any lock really gets on my nerves... I also have a 1/60 VF-0S, looks great but as satisfactory toy... err I think not.
  13. Well it's not not the Macross Frontier trailer, but here is the promo vid for Gundam Unicorn http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=O-IZdf8wSQE I really hope this story gets the anime treatment someday, or at least give us a translation of the novels.
  14. If you aren't a fan mustaches then you might want to look into this Yes that's right it's Unicorn Gundam! Now all we need is confirmation that it's going to be a MG and that it has frame transformation thingy going for it. More pics at dannychoo.com
  15. "Peh" - "tolo" - "may" - "ooze" [or - "us"]
  16. Found this new pic of the gundam unicorn on Hobby Fanatics. http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.php?act...st&id=22885 Interesting, it sort of opens up or extends itself. I'm really liking the design of this gundam more and more. Hopefully we get a MG for this mech.
  17. Top 10 guesses: 1) RX78-2; 2) Hyuku Shiki; 3) Turn-A; 4) Nightingale; 5) Guntank; 6) Destiny; 7) Musou; The-O; 9) Zock; 10) G-Armor. Top 10 wishes: 1) Guntank; 2) The-O; 3) Destiny; 4) V2 and Zock (tie); 6) Nightingale; 7) Murasai; V; 9) TR-1 Hazel; 10) Turn-A. Courtesy of Hobby Fanatics forums. http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.php?showtopic=12926 Surprise, surprise... Guntank, Bandai must be really blind and deaf. But more interesting for me is that V2 is in the top ten. Come on Bandai just one more era, we've gone all the way up to the crossbones...
  18. Better quality movies Cinematic Trailer and Artwork and gameplay footage Notice the text on the computer terminal is in English now. Why where the Koreans yelling/screaming over the word "Active"? Doesn't that hold true for most if not all of the gaming genres (fighting, first person, racing, strategy, rpg)?
  19. OK i have got a Dell Dimension 9100 with 1GB of RAM and would like to add 2 x 1GB from crucial for a total of 3GB. So here is my question: My current memory runs at 1.8V but the memory I'm interested in runs at 2.2V. Is it possible to mix and match both at the same time? Don't worry about the type/speeds/bandwidth and all that, I have got that covered. I read through the thread and I think David Hingtgen had a similar dilemma, but it wasn't quite clear what he did in the end.
  20. Maybe No. 100 could be Penelope or Xi Gundam.
  21. I like that song too, but the 15th anniversary one. The pacing on that one sounds better to my ears than the original, plus the more prominently featured guitars. Hopefully the new series will have some nice peaces of bgm music (score), that can later fill a cd. M+ soundtracks had some nice bgm in there, but also too many outlandish music/songs. M7 is a total disaster when it comes to bgm, well because it has none... M0, totally forgettable.
  22. I wouldn't mind some semi-cannon paint schemes from previous characters like Hikaru (DYRL/SDF), Roy, Max (DYRL/SDF) ect. But what I'd really like to hear is that Yamato is making the VF-19S Excalibur. Aside from the license, why exactly would it be difficult to modify the current YF-19?
  23. Why no. It's about the Flyer team with each member flying a special prototype VF-X-EX MK.XX Valkyrie. They have special ablative armor that protects them from Basaras singing and have been programmed to automatically seek and destroy any Valks with faces or boobs on them. Each Valkyrie is powerful on its own, but together the Valkyrie bots can transform and merge into VALCUGAN!!! Defender not of the Universe but of ALL DIMENSIONS!!! And with its trustworthy ultra hyper mega DX bazooka gunpod - nicknamed "Sarah Jane" by the team members, no evil can withstand this ultimate force.
  24. Another detailed review over at toyboxdx: http://toyboxdx.com/phorum/read.php?1,163051 Impressive I must say, but the price does sting a bit.
