Amazon Japan pre-order pages are already up.
Transformers Masterpiece MP-44S Optimus Prime (it's actually not named "Convoy" this time)
Transformers Masterpiece MP-56+ RigorasAll the toy details on Prime are stickers, not tampo!?
No factions symbols on Rigoras, so I guess stickers again. Also, the included force field accessory should have been included with MP-56 Trailbreaker in the first place.

Unfortunately only possible with a translation plug-in for your browser.

Majority of Gunpla manuals can now be viewed online.

Takara going to release toy version MP-44 Prime and a Diaclon MP-56 Trailbreaker.

No comparisons yet, Blitzway Mazinkaiser won't release until end of October I think.
-
I could see Bandai using this to test the international market acceptance of buying add-on packs.
-
Well at least it gives fans an option to avoid Arcadia YF-19 broken arms lottery.
-
It has one review on AJ at the time of writing this, so not exactly representative.

Takara promo for MP Hoist.

So after having watched episode two, I have to say that the ending is kind of depressing when you take the further Trek timeline into consideration.
In 100+ years the status quo on the subject matter didn't really change that much in Starfleet (see DS9).

Is there a second drop for the Dynames Devise to come (when?) like with the Strike Noir or is this a now or never situation?
-
The partsforming doesn't really bother me, I actually think the arm-bots will be the best of the gang, because they have better articulation which makes them more dynamic.

New Takara promo of Kaen with some additional shots of Raiden in action.
Not feeling combined mode – too much kibble and articulation seems average if you ask me.

Not sure if it's real. Next Metal Build is Maximum Perfect Strike (Alternative Project Ver.)?
Hopefully this comes to fruition. I have resisted any white Strike Gundam and packs until now, speculating on Bandai actually doing this.

Hacchaka has a review up for Shin Getter 1. Looking forward to receiving my copy, but a bit worried about the wobbly hips, waist and ankle joints mentioned in the review. Hopefully just an isolated case.

Aside from the standard retail edition of Kaen, there will also be a limited TT Mall version (designated MPG-06S). This will be a bigger box that apparently can house all the previous Trainbot boxes and will contain additional stands for all six as well as having the beam sabre and sword plated.

In case anyone missed the initial pre-order for HMR Orguss and still on the hunt, it is available through Amazon JP right now.

Quick playtime with the Legioss Zeta..
Still amazed Sentinel has given us a nice sculpt in Fighter, even if the vertical stabilizers are kinda tiny:
If compared to a Macross valk, the Legioss looks chunky, blocky even. Macross valks have tidy underbellies, yet despite the Legioss's bottom looking like a mess following closely the line art, somehow I love it as much as I like Macross valks.
The size difference between a same-scaled Legioss & VF-1 didn't really hit me until I put them side by side. Couple of re-processed old pics:
Now, patiently waiting for Sentinel to show more progress on their Tread and confirmed PO date. Come on Sentinel!
I don't know how others feel, but to me there is nothing cooler then having mecha from different franchises in scale with each other and displaying/posing them together.

I know next to nothing about Warhammer, but in case anyone here is interested, the Royal Mail is issuing stamps to celebrate the 40th anniversary.

MP-58 (?) Hoist also incoming.

I'll say this, it was terrible idea for the cartoon to lean more into the compromised toy designs for season two instead of continuing with the streamlined redesign of season one. That being said, Takara has done a good job of recapturing Hoist from the cartoon.

In case anyone missed the first time around, there is going to be a second round of pre-orders for Astraea II and Proto XN tomorrow.

I am hoping they get around to making the Ozma variant with the much better head design.
And knowing my luck that would be the one they decide to do as P-Bandai.

I think I might pick up MP-44S for novelty and curiosity, but I'm not big on using stickers either, that should not be a thing for MPs. On the other hand it gives fans the option to not completely be locked in with toy detailing and only having to contend with yellow eyes and silver colouring/striping if they don't want to spend the requested after-market prices for the OG MP-44 mould now. As for the trailer, plenty complained of having "yet another trailer accessory lying in the cupboard" and that it drove up the cost of MP-44 significantly (I don't quite subscribe to that). Now all of a sudden it is to little being offered, it's damned if you do or damned of you don't – Takara can never really win this.
