  1. That's the coolest destroid of them all!
  2. I've always wanted a Destroid Spartan. I wouldn't mind seeing in atmosphere booster lauchers for the 1/60 valks.
  3. I think the left arm, right arm thing has to do with a paticular fighting stance. Think about it. If your right handed what arm are you going to do most of the blocking with. You can even see this in Macross plus. The VF-11 and YF-19 have there shields on the left arms. Of course I don't know if this argument can still hold for Hikaru since he gets damaged so much.
  4. LMAO ^^
  5. Make that 5 people that prefer the 1/60 over the 1/48. That's for completions sake. If it is to be only one for you, definately the 1/48.
  6. The only things my girl buys me that can be considered toys are video games. She frowns upon my Macross collection and would never put any money into "something this childish". Plus, I'ts a good thing. If she knew how much Macross toys cost I would never be able to buy another one. She thinks the 1/60's cost about 20 bucks and the big ones about 40.
  7. It was about this last time last year I got mine too. I was completely amazed with it for three months. Then I decided to sell it to buy the VF-1S. I told myself I would buy only one 1/48. Of course now I've ended up with more than that. It's funny how things work out isn't it. I remember when I got my first 1/60. I was like, this is all I'm going to buy. Yeah right, I can't begin to count how much money I've spent on Macross. Man, I miss my Hikaru. Wish I wouldn't have sold it now!
  8. Can I move into your house?!
  9. Is the 1J gonna be comparable to the latest 1/60's. i.e. Collapsable gunpod and different arms. How bout a SDF style pilot? Also, is there any speculation as to how it will be packaged. I'd like to see it packaged in battroid mode like the original M+ valks.
  10. Upon trying to find some footage of the accident I found this: LINK There is a description and some video clips.
  11. I saw it again today. It was on Ripleys Believe it or not. The plane was an A-6. Apparently the guy got lodged against the shaft and did not go through. Still amazing, that guy should be dead.
  12. That oger leading the orcs did look a little like Sloth!
  13. If I were you, tomorow after noon I'd be setting up a trip wire with fishing line connected to pots and pans. Atleast, you'll know they are there. Or you could settle for a good hold fashioned bear trap!
  14. Had an F-16C taken down during a trip to canada. 88-0357. Taken down by pelicans in the intake and through the canopy glass. Pilot landed in a tree and only bruised his arm. Back to topic, the VF-22's nosecone is my pick. I saw the craziest thing on tv one night. I believe it was shock tv. This plane was on the deck of a carrier preparing for takeoff and a crew member got sucked up into the turbin. The turbin just spit him out the other side. Crazy I tell you. As for favorite nose cone. I vote for the VF-11. Its got that bird of prey look to it. It almost looks like a beak. The guy who got sucked in the "carrier plane"..did he survive ? A couple of broke ribs and some burns. There was probably more damage done to the plane.
  15. OMG! That auction has been viewed over 91,000 times!

  17. I saw it early this morning. I had some time to kill after visiting my doctor. I'm entertained quite easily. So, I found the movie to be pretty good. However, It is the longest damn movie I've ever sat through. The only draw back to the movie was the Tolkien geek sitting behind be that wouldn't shutup. It seems like every theater has one! The effects are completely awsome. The battle for Minis Tirinth(sp) made Helms deep look like a little skirmish. I agree the ending was a little drawn out but It still felt incomplete. A couple of the characters were omitted. It would have been nice to see them included just for closure's sake. I guess I've gotta wait for the extended version. In all, compared to other movies I've seen this year, ROTK can't be beat.
  18. What's the dealio Yo? This threads got me in suspense! I've been checking in for a while.
  19. For a minute my heart started skipping beats! Gimme, Gimme fastpack upgrades!
  20. I thought there was already a cartoon about this group:
  21. I don't think so, that wasn't the case with my super Hasegawa VF.
  22. In Battroid you have to use the extra piece that goes behind the head. I found it a little tricky to get it in and some times it doesn't want to stay. Use a little force with it, so that the hatch is actually below the surface of the plane. As for the arms, the pegs should rest between the armor and the arm. If the legs are alilgned correctly this shouldn't be a problem.
  23. Regarding the FP VF1J. I have two left sided FPs, where the micro missiles are stored. Instead of the red light bieng on the outside of each. It's on the left side of each. Anybody else with this problem?
  24. 183$ from HK. 190$ is not bad considering you got a seperate FP. Over half of my collection has came off of Ebay and I have yet to get screwed.
  25. Yeah, I'm in the US. I've tried tracking through usps.com. Does the PO only update the tracking when the package gets to the country?
