  1. I think I saw one floating around on Ebay once. I think there was a Con-exclusive one as well. I can't remember what it was though. I think Black Aces had it up on ebay. Somthing, about it being all metal.
  2. I dont think there was ever an "official" cancelation. But it's been almost three years since Yamato had that poll on their website. It's pretty much a given that these things are vapor ware.

HOT DIZAMMMMM! That's some really sweet news. Hopefully this one will be posable!
  4. How does Rook's compare to Scott's Blue alpha in terms of QC, joint stiffness, and overall asthetics? Does it look like Toynami improved on it or not?
  5. My opinion is that there are alot of casual Robotech fans that are now finding out that these toys were released. They just jumped on the boat a little late. The only thing they have ever associated with Robotech is HG, hence the buying up of the MPC's. Now if they had some insight into how these thing compared to other offerings and true Macross. I'm sure they wouldn't be spending there money on them.
  6. Isamu, helmet is the coolest. Only followed by Hikaru's sdf helmet. Male Zentradi helmets are pure cheese!
  7. Crack Head!!!
  8. There being re-issued in December. Try TMP, VE, or PM Neova, He can hook you up.
  9. linky, link?!
  10. That's a cool Idea but it would never happen. If it did, I see it in maybe a 1/100 scale. I'm with Ignacio, I think a single destroid would be around the price of 80 bucks like the Queadluun-Rau. Especially, in 1/60 scale. Though, I'm dying to get my hands on a fully articulated Spartan, I love that mech.
  11. I was just thinking about that this morning while sitting in traffic. It seems like I see alot less posting from some of the more outspoken members. It seems like there was a little Macross fad going on for the last two or three years and now it's starting to dwindle down. Of course, alot did occur to spark the boom of Macross fandom in the first place. Now that all the companys have run the gambit of toys things seem to be slowing down.
  12. Yeah, That covers not representive of the anime at all. But if you look at the screen shots from the back you can actually see that it's anime.
  13. It's funny I've been looking on Ebay for that thing for two years now and never found it. Go figure.....As soon as I ask about it, there it is.
  14. Well hell! that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. link Thanks for looking!
  15. Out of all the anime in the world, this is the only one my girlfriend will watch. She found a VHS version and ended up paying 60$ for it. Well the tape turned out to be craptastic piece of nostalgia that is god knows how old. Oh! How I don't miss the days of adjusting tracking on my vcr! This is the Hans Christian Anderson version of the little mermaid it was produced somewhere around 1978. I know the VHS was produced by Video Gems. This would make a sweet christmas present for her. I know it's a long shot. But, any help finding a DVD copy is greatly appreciated.
  16. not true at all, many people were open minded about the alpha, and some of us were down right supportive. and it's great that you got yours at a lower price, but that isn't the price that toynami wants retailers to sell it at, is it? Besides, toynami people themselves admit they dropped the ball. Yeah! I was pretty ecstatic about my Alpha until it started to disintigrate in my hands after two hours of gentle play. I still like it, but it is a flawed toy.
  17. EDIT: Wrong Thread.....
  18. Maybe we should start a DoZ thread instead... Thats older than the internet
  19. Yeah. can someone post up a bittorrent?
  20. Wasn't there a Highlander cartoon that pretty much bombed? I think I remember seeing one episode and quickly forgetting about it.

    Two seater Valks

I think it could be done quite easily. I know the argument has come up about the swing bar before. but, that should not make a difference. if you compare the noses on the 1/60's the two seaters are the exact same length as the one seaters. Of course the nosecone for the two seaters are entirely diffrent sculpts. But, The swing bar could possibly be engineered the same as a standard 1/48 with out having to relocate any thing.
  22. I found it in a Wal-Mart back in 1995. I ended up throwing it away last year. Interesting though, the one I had was with Roy's colors.
  23. Neova, What are you using to take the pictures on. The reflection of the valks is just plain awsome.
  24. That's pretty freaking beautiful! Makes me wanna shed a tear for poor 'ol' Hayao
  25. The only feelings I had after watching EVA was; Wow! What a waste of time!. It's funny how two crummy episodes can ruin a great thing.
