  1. Yeah, I Got the 19 too!. I'm starting to wish I would have done that one first. The 19 has alot less major pieces. The cleanup process my have been easier. I hope you get your kits soon. They're fun and a challenge to build.
  2. I've never had a problem and I've got 4 fp's with takatoys decals on them. Try taking a decal and putting iton part of the valk.See if it'll stick to that.
  3. I was looking at the mm sand the other day and thought it might look to beige in color. I ending up buying mm light ivory. I thought I would try that out. It may be to light though. Maybe I'll pick up the sand aswell and try mixing the two. thanks for the info.
  4. Here is another pic from the top. Sorry guys I though I resized the pic. Atleast you can get plenty of detail
  5. This pic was taken after ten hours of work. There still along way to go. More sanding is ahead tommorow. My arm feels like it is about to fall off.
  6. More cleanup. Pretty much all of the pieces have alot of flash like the piece below. One thing I found though, is that the resin is real easy to sand. Suprisingly, It holds up very well too! It's nothing compared to working with a Hasegawa.
  7. Some of the clean up.
  8. Here's another pic next to a vf-1j!
  9. Well, Got my kits today! I've been looking forward to these for a long time. Major props to Myersjesse and MSLZ22 for picking these backup after the initial project. The kits are a little intimidating at first escpecially if youv'e never worked with resin before. It's not that bad though! I can see were mechamaniac was complaining about vacuming resin dust. I'm going to be coughing that poo up for the next week. The Yf-21 and YF-19 are simply beautiful. Though both kits need some major clean up. There is alot of flash to sand away and like every one has seemed to say, the pieces just don't automatically fit together. The 21 alone wil probably take a tube of putty to fill in the gaps. Not knocking the work that went in to these though. These kits are simply amazing! Also, huge to say the least. The 21 dwarfs a 1/48 Yamato. Well This is going to be my first buildup on MW so any suggestions are welcome.
  10. That's really nice! What type of paints did you use to get beige just right? It has a very clean look to it!
  11. Baaaah! Haseagawa. I refuse to by any more of there kits until they make a vf-11.
  12. Kurt any chance we can get a look at the underbelly? The kit is beautiful!
  13. I wish Yamato would completly re-sculpt the vf-11 even more so than the 19. Those tailfins are just disgusting.
  14. Did I mention this was......... GAY!!!!!!!
  15. I really, really, really wanna know what the story is on that Yf-19.
  16. I really feel this is justified......... GAY!!!!!!!
  17. Like the title says, I need a regulator BAD! Can I find a decent one at Home Depot? Where should I look? The ones I've seen online coast around 60 bucks. I'd like to get one ASAP for as little as possible. Thanks
  18. I wquld love to see the vf-17 recast.

    Macross Jack

Thats cool. I wanna se a Macross smiley just like that.
  20. Yeah but in the end it probably worked out for the better. Macross fans got a better valkyrie. I'm having a hard time grasping the idea of a 1:48 MPC. UGHH!.. SHUDDERS..
  21. Not to sound too negative.. but is sounds like an excuse not to make the beta to me. How's he supposed to know if the fans will support it if it's never made. I do agree that it would be totally awsome to have one though. though, I would really love seeing some full transforming ride armors in about 1/12 scale.
