The Hasegawa kits are awsome. A project last yeary was and f4u corsair. It was a really nice kit. I'd stay away from Revell. I tried and f-14 and an f-18. I ended up trashing both of those kits.

Instead of wings that fold up under. How bout wings that sweep in and out. Remember the scene before Guld sends Isamu nose diving into the sand. The wings sweep out in battloid mode. Though that does seem hard to accomplish with perfect transformation in mind.

Does anybody happen to know a release schedule for the fastpacks and any other valks?

Wow, Just 5 years ago any one of us would have killed for a valk of the quality thats available now. If your burned out, only buy what really sparks your interest. I bought my first macross item in two years just a couple of weeks ago. Don't worry about keeping up with everybody else. Just prioritize get what you want and be thankful you have the choices that are available today. I do have to admit that 2-3 years back I got caught up in the gotta have em all syndrome. I had to take a step back and re-prioritize what was important. I ended up selling off more than half of my collection. I agree that these things are expensive but think of the guys that dropped a grand on the old taku valks. Just be thankful that were not stuck with sub-par toys and remember it shouldn't be a race to see who can have the most valks.

Too bad, No pics of the Rumered VF-11 that was floating around a couple of months back. I was really looking forward to that.

That's A Good Idea! I might try that with my 19. You Know when Isamu first sees it in the series and and it has that awsome sheen to it. It was almost like a mirror. Do you think that process might turn out ok?

I was at the Outback bowl last month. During the National Anthem they had 3 Harriers fly over. That was pretty sweet!

I think the VB-6 is the most retarded looking toy that I have. Besides that, I always thought those stupid Poke-Balls were gay! Actually, The whole poke-concept is pretty gay.

It's still coming along. slowly but surely. I wish I had done the yellow first. I botched it up. I'll be spending some more time on it this weekend.

Bottom

Now the first coat of blue paint. I used tamiya XF-8 Flat blue for this. Then I went over the panels and sprayed Tamiya Medium Blue XF-18.

Now I've started the paint process. The pre-shading done here was with crappy old black testors acrylic.

Also, I re-scribed and sanded the nose bay doors.

I reworked the landing bay doors aswell. This took alot of time. It's still ot perfect but I think I can live with it.
