Because..... The Yamato initial release was with velcro. Second run or later stocks came without it. No big deal. It does not make sense for Yamato to give away Yamato Macross in US toy show. First, the Macross item is restricted in the State. Hense, no possiblity for selling the item in the US, at least legally. Second, along the same line. Why would Yamato creat problem by giving away toy (Not even selling for profit) in US???? In the State, Yamato is known as Toycom, so they were present at the show. But, there was no reason for them to offer the toy for free, since TOycom is not offering Macross line.

Voted for Regult. I would like to see various types of regult as seen in Macross and Robotech (Scout, missle carriers, etc). If there was option of any enemy mechs from Macross, I would have voted for that one...

Like Neova said. That is regular 1/48 VF-1J released by Yamato. The photo in that aution is a back of the box. Usually, when item is listed on EBay, sellers take photo of the front. For that reason, I would have second thought about purcashing from the seller.

The winning bidder of that auction bought same T/F cliffjumper for less than $25 from another seller (Check his feedback). If he is really going to pay $1000 for the same one. Either, the winning bidder knows something we don't know or his CXXXX. I let you guys/gals decide .....

Here is the most amazing auction listed on Ebay (My personal opinion). Those who dare to click on the link will be very very suprised. The absolute one of a kind Gokin DX, at list that is what it is stated. " HOLY GRAIL "

WOW!!!! That is one hell of a custom. I can see how much time and energy went into that project.... This type of custom, among others reasons, is what makes me visit here once a day (Thanks to those that makes this site alive). Hope to see more customs from you and the other in the future. And happy happy to the new owner of that custom....

The very first valk, geeezz, its been almost 20 years, wow. Anyways, it was one of those $3 swap meet bootleg Valks that are made of plastic. At that time, I thought that it was the coolest things around. I am just glad that Bandai, Yamato and Toynami have released their own versions of Valks after graduating from college and have comfortable job.

There is no one "super" that is better, in my opinion. It all depends on what you're looking for in a Valk. Basically, each toy (manaufactured by Toynami, Bandai and Yamato) has its own Pros and Cons. You as a potential buyer has to make the decision on what you are looking for in a toy. If you have questions on waht are the difference, you can post on this forum and you will get answer and/or opinion from many collectors that visits this site.

Please quote the reference you got this information from. (Sorry, in a rush but am interested to know where you got the news from.) The quote was from wholesale Japanses distributor Why would you want to know where I got the info from????? I cut and pasted the info on my last post.

That sure is nice job.. Thanks,

It fits all 1/60 except: VT, VE and VF-1D.

Yes, that is one of the reason it took so long (Taking a part out them putting it back on). As for the stand, I only have one leg attached to it, another leg is just standing on it without being secured (It was pain to get one leg in to peg). However, after all that work, it becomes amazing piece of work.

Yep, that is 1/48 The dragon mode is loooonggggg!!!! The first transformation took me over 40 mins to transform, compare to 10 mins to transform Yammi Valk w/ Japanese instruction booklete. However, after transformation. I can't say enough, it is "Amazing" . Since, I own mostly Macross, Gundam, Mazinger, and three tranformers, I might be overly suprised at this item. However, I give new respect to Yamato for its Escawflowne. It is amazing....

Your G/F and wifes' are going to appraise you for collecting Macross, compare to this: One of the most crazy auction I seen until now.

Thanks EXO. I thought that I found the cure for removing the yellowing on some of my collection.

Yes, Toycom (Yamato US) has them in stock for distribution to retail stores. Watch MW and other sites for sale of this item........ very very soon.
-
Yes, as usual, Graham was right, I just verified that what you see on HLJ site is in fact Yamato armors and not strike or super parts. It is schedule for relase in Feb XX, 2003 (I have the date, but I do not want to release since Yammies have tendency to change their dates, as most Toy companies do). Basically, Armor Parts for 1:60 Valkyrie except VF-1DAVT-1AVE-1 types. So get your wallets ready

That is awesome!!!! Its always good to see great custom jobs on the forum, rather than coming here and see members talking negative about certain issues time after time...... Yes, if you have time, can you post some more of your customs.... Thanks,
-
Damn, those photos are beauty.... I will definitly buy enogh to let all my Valks cover their bare naked metal bodies. On the side not, I still prefer Bandai GBP, when you have the armors on the valks, it just makes them "Hard core" ready for a good battle... I hope that release of Yamato GBP will bring down the Bandai GBP price for me to get my hands on several of them.

I think that Yamato will eventually make SDF-1. Macross without SDF-1 is hard to imagine Based on the trend of Yamato, it appears that they want to release all of "mecha" from Macross series (As long as they have right to do so) As for the MPC SDF-1 by Yamato..... Members have spoken

Myer, I did not catch your phase to well. Do you mean that it will remove yellowing? or you doubt that it will remove yellowing? Thank you,

Favorite game of all time & Videogame Company
CID replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Starcraft and Warcraft Although, I also liked COunter-Strike. -
#1 is for the Robotech Veritech (Non transformable one from Matchbox) #6 Part of Orguss (Side of the leg) Based in the photo, it appears to be the small bootlegg version #7 Mospeada Pod (It appears to be colored) for smaller verison #8 Definitly Orguess for little bootlegg (Probably for the #6) #10 For Scott Bernard Matchbox (Harmony GOld or alike) figure

That is one fine work of art. Who ever built the valk must have spent pleanty of time and effort. By that itself should give him "Gold Prize" Thank you for letting us enjoy your work.....

Never mind, it is not an auction, it is wanted ad. Yahoo SG must not charge for listing. If it was Ebay, just posting an item for that amount have cost fortune. Wow , That is over $50,000 USD. He or she must have something we are not aware of... In reality, I think the person press one too many 0's on the keyboard.
