  1. The regult is flying! I think three nice additions would be to add a normal zentradi and meltrandi and a normal human.
  2. Quality Check. Okay, I see what you mean. It's supposed ot do that. It enables the foot to lie flat to the ground while have the legs slightly spread. After all, you're defeating the purpose of the 1/48 if you keep it in a real rigid completely straight pose.
  3. XB-70 Valkyrie. That is what we are saying. Yeah, I agree. I was wondering where the other guy got the impression that the Valkyrie name came from the YF-22 Raptor
  4. Dont you mean YF-22? YF-21/VF-22 looks alot more like the YF-21 than the YF-23 IMO The YF-21/VF-22 looks like the YF-21 because it IS the YF-21. I think you have your aircraft classifications mixed up. In Macross Plus it was 21/22. In real life it was 22/23. The M+ 21/22 was based on the real life YF-23.
  5. F-22 = Raptor no? Where'd Valkyrie come from?
  6. Her band, The Replicants, were named after the robots in Blade Runner. See. How quick was that? The answer was there before I could even refresh my screen. /me passes the torch to Yellow.
  7. Okay, so I suck at this. Here we go with BGC again and I'm sure all of you can get this one. What movie influenced the naming of Priss' band? No multiple choice here.
  8. No, it's mine! Give me a sec though. I don't watch much anime so I'm really digging through my brain trying to find something obscure here.
  9. I want to see a return t othe DYRL/Mikimoto style, regardless of the content of the story. I know Kawamori has said that he wants each Macross to have a distinct feel to it, but I think he's really passing up great opportunities by doing so.
  10. 2000 GT! No! I take that back, the Gullwing!
  11. That was a a real car?
  12. It should be hammers. The japanese sound for HA in Hammers is a lot closer to a U than to the hard A with which we usually pronounce it as. Thus, you have your error.
  13. I think you're overestimating the abilities of the missiles, or underestimating the 19 or Isamu's piloting skills. He was doing a pretty good job of evading the missiles with a VF-11. I have no reason to doubt he could have done the same in a 19.

  15. The 19 HAS to rock. It was the hero's plane in two series. Notice how the 21 and 22 were only given to the supporting characters. Kidding. If you're looking for a logical answer, it won't be from me!
  16. Umm... strike cannons? Wut in the wurld are you talkin aboot?
  17. You are correct. There is one higher rating of NC-17 (Remember Showgirls?) which means basically NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 17! I remember in some interview Tarantino talked about a gang-rape scene which, after seeing the first part, may be in the second part. And a couple lines later, he said, "Get your 13 year old daughters to come see it!" The guy is twisted to be sure.
  18. Specs for the VF-0's micro-missles indicate that they are heat seeking (IR), so presumably the VF-1's micro-missile are heat seeking as well. Graham Depends on the missile..... and source qouted ^^;; Oh yeah, speaking of the VF-Zero's micro missiles - - here's a small tidbit. I drew this side view schematic of the GH-30B. (Scroll down) Note that the entry isn't done yet. http://nanashi.macrossmecha.info/resrc/cat...siles/gh30.html Interesting. They seem comparitively long compared to most other micro- missiles. The use of fins on micro-missiles is a first as well. It would be interesting to know the length and diameter of the missiles, but I doubt Kawamori will ever provide that information. Graham Maybe it collapses, the thinner parts into the wider, and the fins slide out like the larger missiles that we commonly see on the VF-1. Then again, there's no REAL purpose for that, except that it might look incredibly cool.
  19. no tleg chest plate thanks ali Funny, but I have a similar problem. (see Ali's pic) Except mine is with my 1/48 VF-1S. Any suggestions for fixes? It is in gerwalk mode in my display case. I've taken it out and securly attached the shoulders. It usually works for about one second before they come lose again! It's driving me nuts! I don't have that problem with ANY of my other 1/48's! Anybody have any suggestions that could help? Thanks, Melissa I had that problem with the 1/48 too for a while. Turned out that bar which stretches between the two intakes wasn't totally clipped into the two plastic clips on the underside of the fuselage.
  20. You can find tons of YF-21 model pics here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...t=ST&f=3&t=2069
  21. What about "that other 80's mecha" that you almost mentioned a little while back?
  22. Yeah. Nothing so crazy as the thin red line though. And the nightmare levels are harmless. There's no way you can die in them.
  23. Ho-shiz, that looks sweet
  24. I'm pretty sure that the legioss and tread can stay connected in battloid. The tread becomes a big backpack serious So I've heard, but I don't remember ever seeing a picture of such a thing, and when I try to imagine it, it comes out all bizarre looking. The tread would make for one large backpack...
