  1. Okay, maybe Insurrection was THE worst Trek flick of them all ....
  2. Any chance someone could post a pic of the 1/35 Gakken next to a 1/48 Yamato? Just curious to see a size comparison. I hope to someday own a MIB 1/35 Gakken as well ... someday.
  3. Wow, based on the last few posts the Garland sounds like a piece of S---! Sorry to you all who have broken toys ... a shame.
  4. Maybe a Minmei special edition CM release? The chase figure might be her in a swimsuit from episode #9!
  5. One last off topic question: if Graham is member #11, who were/are the previous ten members? Whhoooooo, sounds like a mystery from LOST.
  6. I've had the same experience with RT.com. I went there initally to track down info on some RT products, but ended up on MacrossWorld as well. Their very tight "terms of use" policies may be logical from a business perspective, but they take the fun away from the fans who visit the site. I still check the site, but rarely post anymore. It's boring and sterile - the posts here are funny and organic. MacrossWorld rocks!! Thanks for helping to rekindle my enjoyment of a childhood interest folks!! My 2 cents.
  7. It looks nifty to me. Not sure if I can make it down for the convention though ... shoot. I may have to buy it off of eBay as well.
  8. Parts look good ... but I'm saving for the 1/48 GBP armour! Gotta have priorities.
  9. I completely agree .... aaajin - I believe LOS of Lost and Found toys has it for pre-order. www.laftoys.com
  10. No worries - but you know I had to at least ask ....
  11. I agree ... it definitely is an addiction/affection for childhood memories. Love Macross.
  12. I just saw one sold on eBay for over $450!!! Yowza! That's mo'money!!
  13. Thanks for sharing the pics mate!
  14. I remember reading somewhere that Rick Berman, longtime producer of the ST franchise at Paramount is no longer associated with ST. So who knows, maybe it will be good? The franchise needs new blood with new ideas. My 2 cents.
  15. Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 - Thanks for the great and informative post; appreciate it from someone who couldn't attend!!!
  16. Looking good to me mate!!! Great job!!
  17. I'm with ya mate!
  18. That is surprising ... only 7 posts?!? Lurker, eh?
  19. *pats you on the back* It's okay. I'll bet more people around here than we think are Toynami/HG victims. And definitely more people than would care to admit it! Look on the bright side though. You may have over-paid for your MPCs, but maybe in a few years they'll be so "collectable" due to their limited production, they'll be worth twice as much as you paid. (To anybody who hasn't discovered Yamato, that is.) 408631[/snapback] Thanks for the support. Yeah, I wish I had just started with the 1/48 Yamatos a few years back instead of the Toynami MPC ... but their $150 price point was a big hurdle to get over ... now, last month I dropped almost $200 for the super stealth!
  20. RT junkie is correct - they look like 1/55 Gakken Alphas to me; the Invid is likley made by Matchbox or an Exo-Squad re-issue, and the last Alpha is 1/72 scale.
  21. Can someone post a pic of the Ghost fast pack?
  22. Yes, I know I overpaid for the MPC Rick & Max valkyries ..... ** bows head in shame and looks at floor **
  23. Are these the "real" reasons you've read somewhere or just speculation? Cause if it's the former, then that's a shame. I will always envision Transformer Bumblebee as a VW beetle.
