Welcome to MW Hikaru's VF-1S, and I agree that LOS of Lost & Found toys (www.laftoys.com) is a great, honest, reliable dealer!! I've ordered from him several times and never had a problem. As for the first Yamato 1/48 valkyrie, go with either the Hakaru VF-1S or super stealth!! Those are the 2 that I own, both of them are sweet!

I was never a Starscream fan, so I know I won't be getting the MP release. I have been interested in getting G1 TF gestalt combiner sets lately - thank goodness for eBay!! Even if a lot of the figures are way overpriced. I managed to complete the Technobots/Computron set and am in the process of trying to get the Aerialbots/Superion series. Considered the KO bootleg remakes, but based on comments they don't seem worth it at all.
