I've read this like five time and I still can't make -any- sense of it. What? 419565[/snapback] Not sure about the plot, but I know that when the Exo-Squad toyline was released in the early 90s, a lot of their toys were "stolen" from the Macross line. Namely the destroids, Matchbox valkyrie, and enemy mecha. I believe.

So JJ Abrams is working on the new Trek flick? Hrrmm. LOST is an amazing show, but MI:3 was pretty lame - not enough action and way to much characterization ... guess the same will happen for ST. A shame.

I hope Toynami releases the BETA ....

Thanks for the comments on Unicron Armada folks - appreciate it. It does look good, but very plasticky .... wasn't sure if it was too simplified or not. I'm thinking that might be next on my list, AFTER I complete a couple more gestalt sets AND AFTER the barrage of Yamato valkyries to be released this fall. I also wanna get a couple of the TF Classic line figures - when are they being released? Man, budget is going to be tight.

On another tangent: does anyone own the Unicron Armada figure? Released back in 2003 I think .... any thoughts? Is it any good? Worth owning or what?

Like many others have said, thanks for the pics Graham!! They are sweet! Seeing the Vf-19 in 3D is much better than the line art. I hope it doesn't get released until early 2007, man, my wallet can't take it with sooooo many releases already this fall: VF-0A, Angel bird, Max DYRL re-issue .....

Actually ... until I place a pre-order for the Max 1/48 DYRL Vf-1A ... I'm gonna keep my sig. Don't wanna jinx it mate!

I've got 2 Yamato 1/48 VF-1S's at present, with the intent on buying more. And I still need to get the Vf-0S and GBP armour as well, but I've been wanting the Max DYRL version for the longest time!!! WooHoo!! Gotta catch 'em all!!

I guess since I am a Michael Bay fan (yes, I loved Armageddon) ... I have faith that he'll produce one heckofva 2 hour popcorn ride. Will it be good? Who knows. Will there be action and cool action sequences? Probably. Will it accurately depict the TF characters I know and love from childhood? Doubtful. But what can you do, eh?

With the Joker in Batman Begins/Continues 2 ... there'll be tons of comparison between the new Joker and the one played by Jack Nicholson. And the latter did a pretty amazing job ... it'll be tough for whoever to tackle this role. Talk about pressure!!
