Wow - o - wow!! Those look sweet!! But $75 a pop? That's half a 1/48 Yamato!! Ouch!! And they are already out of print ... a shame. Will have to pass on 'em for now ... need the money for upcoming valkyries. Thanks for posting the pic mate. -

Question to all: so which fast pack version looks better on the DYRL 1/48 valkyries? The individual "standard" green looking fast pack sets or the stealth version fast packs? I only have a set of the latter and it looks sweet on my VF-1S Hikaru, but can those of you who own both comment? Thanks in advance mates.

Yes, Destroids would be nice ... but you know you can probably easily find some of the "Exo-Squad label" re-issues on eBay for relatively low prices. They're pretty good IMHO.

I just got mine - haven't had time to play with it, but I was not impressed with the cheap ass sticker label that said "Made in China, #088 of 1000". Is THAT the only identifier that says it is a limited collectable? Lame. Plus, no "convention exclusive" label anywhere on the box?

I guess we'll see a line of Shadow Chronicles toys, IF (and that's a big one) the feature does well .... I'm not holding my breath on that. There's been sooooo much anticipation, I don't think it'll meet the buildup of fan expectation.

Here's a thought: with all the new releases this fall, maybe the 1/48 Yamato toy market will get oversaturated (like on eBay) ... scaring vendors into reducing prices for their stock of valkyries, this causing a price war?!? One can hope ......

Some poor schmo bought this with a buy-it-now offer of $210!!! What a shame, poor fellow. He/she is going to be pissed in a few months when it gets re-issued.

I hope so and would love to have an SDF-1, problem is - Yamato would only be able to milk the mold twice (Macross and DYRL versions) ... so I doubt they'll make it. A shame.
