Finally got around to opening mine ... and I am happy to report that I am pleasantly surprised. The figure is pretty nice! Not amazing, but nice. Transforms nicely and I like the accessories ... good job Toynami!! Let's hope the fast packs are just as decent.

The first Escape movie was good ... the sequel was lame ... not sure how I feel about another sequel. EFLA left a bad taste in my mouth. Metal Gear movie? Is that for real?

As for TFs, I got back into them the last few months ... it's strangely exciting to recapture the childhood memories. So I know the feeling of getting "hooked" again. Actually, both Gunbuster & Dangioh were two of the earliest animes I ever watched after Robotech. And I was pleasantly surprised by both. The ending to Gunbuster was bittersweet .... while the ending to Neon Genesis Evangelion = WTF?!?!?
