  1. Nice pics of your collections guys - thanks for sharing!
  2. Belated thanks for the info Graham. Guess I'll wait on confirmation if the new fast pack VF-0's have the new shoulder part treatments ....
  3. I'd prefer a 1/60 scale VF-11B to match the other Macross Plus valkyries.
  4. Protoculture??? Isn't that a Robotech term??? This is Macross mate, NOT Robotech .... JK
  5. Thanks to both of your thoughts Mog & Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0. I know what you're both saying, the 25th Anniversary Joes do have slightly more poseability and look way more detailed. But I guess I find the old Joes seem to feel more durable and overall, they have more consistent range of movement IMHO. For the record, I am not trying to start an argument here.
  6. Unlike Radd, I don't have an almost complete set of the TF Alternators, but I do own all the ones I really want. Last summer I made a point to try and get 'em BEFORE the ridiculous price markups when the movie hype hit this summer. All I need is Meister (aka Jazz). Still need to pick him up ... probably off of eBay.
  7. Unfortunately sqidd, I don't own the Konig Monster, so I can't help you out mate. Sorry.
  8. Finally saw these in a store today. Picked up what was left: Flint & Cobra Commander. Man, I am pretty disappointed. They're made of vinyl plastic and feel so cheaply made, like KO quality. And the poseability is OK, not that great. After 25 years I was expecting leaps and strides in articulation improvements, but I honestly think the old 80s figures were made better and more poseable. Heck, even the card backing seemed to be paper thin! I will say the sculpts are more detailed and I agree with Mog's initial thoughts in an earlier post contrasting the 25th anniversary Joes and the old Joes. Will probably pick up Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow - they are classic characters.
  9. I think it's due to be released this fall, like Oct sometime. It's a Wal-Mart exclusive.
  10. Yeah, bring on the VF-17 stealth bomber!!!
  11. Welcome to the Macross Valkaholics Club!!!
  12. 1/100 scale
  13. Proof that not only has Graham seen the actual YF-21 prototype toy, but he's probably playing with it as we speculate & dream about it!!
  14. Well put Hurin. I think that for many of us the original SW trilogy had such a major impact storytelling and FX wise, that it's extremely tough to capture that same magic. That's why the recent "prequel trilogy" could probably never have met SW fan expectations ... although the 3rd act: Revenge of the Sith came pretty close. My 2 cents.
  15. Nice group shot of the different Starscreams Alpha OTS!! I need to do one of the various Hot Rod/Hot Shot/Rodimus' that I own, one of these days ....
  16. A Classics version of Blurr would be awesome!! Springer would be fantastic too ... although they already released him as a BotCon exclusive ... even if he is part of the TimeLines series. More MP Skywarp pics for your enjoyment:
  17. Me neither, the Macross 7 colours are so meh. The red & blue in an earlier post are way TOO LOUD.
  18. Hope so. Graham? Heeeellllllooooo???? Are you out there??? Review, please?
  19. While I'm not a hardcore TF fan, I admit I became a fan again about 2 years ago: I just happened to see the Hasbro re-issue G1 Hot Rod/Rodimus at the local comic shop for sale one day and got sucked in. I've been re-collecting TFs ever since. ruskiiVFaussie - Cool poses!! I have Energon Starscream and think he's great!!
  20. Ha Ha Ha  I think this plot idea was used in an episode of the 90s update of "The Outer Limits".
  21. I saw some TF Movie Robot Replicas today ... they suck IMHO!!! Still no new TF Deluxe, Voyager, nor Leaders in stock. And here's a new pic of MP Skywarp .... looks cool but I hate that second face, WTF???
  22. That VF-22A looks sweet!!
  23. Looks a little too plain being "all white" IMHO ...
