I sent my order in mid-April and still haven't rescued Doc yet ....

Thanks to both promethuem5 & QuinJester for their transformation tips with TFA Starscream. I will give these a try tonight.

I'm having trouble getting TFA Starscream's chest plate to align properly/snugly with the back section when transforming back to fighter plane mode. There always seems to be a gap. But I noticed in some of the pics here that's not the case. Am I mis-transforming something?? Any help? Thanks in advance.

Beagle cyclone is looking good ... except for the short arms and scrawny legs in Battle Armour mode ... But if it is $200 US, I may pick this up!

The Duke/Redstar comic had a semi-ok plot, cheesy, and stereotypical ... but better than the others Hama has written. And I didn't mind the other two either, although I agree that the Storm Shadow/Firefly comic was like an issue of Cable and Deadpool.

@GoldenArms: Joe sniper was named LowLight. I really want him too!! Finally found the wave 4 comic packs over the weekend!! They are awesome!! Storm Shadow, Firefly, RedStar ... amazing!! Comics are slightly better too!!

Found TFA Bumblebee over the weekend, he's actually better than I thought he'd be, based on some of the comments here. But still no Grimlock ....

Opened up TF:Animated Voyager Optimus Prime ... it is sweet! It's better than the Deluxe version, but doesn't entirely blow it away. Deluxe version is a great figure and has a very poseable robot mode, but lame alternate mode IMO. You can see the arms and hands when viewed from the back. Also has a great battle axe weapon. Voyager version feels more sturdy, has a great, solid alternate mode & robot mode with everything hidden away in both modes. Maybe some slight kibble on the leg sides. Transformation is pretty easy (similar to G1 OP), but there is one auto-morph step where you push a button and the legs automatically spin and unwrap themselves to form Prime's legs - makes the toy feel very loose when you first try it. And even after the transformation, OP's waist is not really tight and stable, it tends to swivl, because of this auto-morph feature - could have done without this feature. Otherwise, it is awesome. Includes a gun for him that can shoot water, but his battle axe weapon looks lame compared to the Deluxe version. Will post pics when I get a chance.

Agreed. The film was shot way too dark .... I couldn't see much in many of the darkness/night-time scenes (which was like 60 - 70% of the movie).

Yes I did. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my previous post. And no, I haven't opened them yet. So far I've opened all the Deluxes and will open the Voyagers probably this weekend. Will post a report when I can. I know you're waiting for sidecar Prowl, but this version is awesome. Best motorcycle TF figure IMHO.

Still no new stock of wave 8, nor comic packs wave 4 ....

Finally found some of the TF:Animated toys last night at the local stores. Picked up Deluxe Prowl, Ratchet, Black Arachnia, Optimus Prime, & Lockdown. Also found Voyager Starscream, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Lugnut, & Bulkhead. It was an expensive night!!! Opened all the Deluxes and they rock!! Simply awesome!! Didn't see Grimlock, nor Bumblebee at all.

Wow. Congrats. May I ask, how much did it cost? An arm, a leg, or both?

Will the 2nd release of TFA prowl be the same paint scheme or different?

Looks very cool, but there is no frakking way I am getting sucked into collecting these too ....
