I just read dreamweavers post so: The question of why the prologue was different from the end of the series was asked and answered at the Gainax panel at Fanime. Not a direct quote but - "The series just ended up going in (ending) a different direction than the prologue showed."

I kinda gathered as much as Fanime when someone said "I wish I could say more" referring to the future of GL. Sweet.

I don't remember that. Have to watch it again I suppose.

I just showed my buddy the S1-S3 recap to catch him up and I had totally forgot about them taking one of Starbuck's ovaries. Maybe someone cloned her? Doesn't make her a cylon but doesn't make her Starbuck either. I dunno.

Let me sum it up for you.

I have found I have to use both VLC and MPC depending on which codecs or encoding is used. I recently downloaded SDF-Macross with both sub and dubs and MPC won't recognize that it has dual audio so I have to use VLC. MKVs on the whole are pretty stable IF you have a good player and the right codecs, but if you continually have issues with them, uninstall all your players and codecs, download the CCCP or k-lite packs and let those packs install the players for you so you know they all the right versions and are all compatible. As for Gattai quitting, it sucks because I am quite impatient and they were doing a pretty good job of keeping me satisfied. lol

Wanted to, didn't get tickets in time. Went to the final Q&A panel though. 2 hours of stupid questions with stupid translators. However, the information they gave was totally worth it. "look forward to the movie" "enjoy the dvds" And after being asked about a continuation of the series "I REALLY wish I could say more but I can't" When the dude asked "Why drills?" and they told him "because the director wanted drills" I almost cried I was laughing so hard.

Ok, thought so. Funny thing is, I bought the first disc when it came out with the box for the set and never watched it for God knows what reason. I had no idea whatsoever that is had an english dub on it and came across it on demonoid and was like "wtf, there's no english version of "Macross". How noob is that? Haha Thanks.

In all reality I do too, but I also think that having such a huge (compared to other genres and/or 10 years ago) market for such items, they should do SOMEthing. Hell, I don't have to tell you what they are doing for Transformers and Star Wars is 100 times (in terms of size and fandom) the franchise.

I just watched Garbage In, Garbage Out and I was geekin' out. Wreckgar, Weird Al, Dare to be Stupid, Spike. Hell yeah. Also, what episode is it currently on? I think my DVR is screwing me over. GI, GO was my newest.

While I won't disclose where I got it , I think it's great and I find the song Triangular incredibly fun to listen to all the time.

Fanime is next weekend and was wondering if anyone from MW is going. Maybe we could meet up and have lunch, argue, dance, do some coke. I dunno. Let me know. ^^

It's bulky, fat and looks almost identical to the Kenner/Hasbro versions. 2 1/2 feet long doesn't make up for someones lack of vision. I will agree to an extent. However, your "small niche" makes sure that items ranging from $5-25,000 sell out before they hit shelves, regardless of where they are supposed to be shelved. Be it an online exclusive retailer or Wal-Mart. There is a market for the items, everywhere. Not just the "fat guy". With this I completely disagree. While my days of waiting for stores to open or standing around a 24 hour Wal-Mart at the wee hours of the morning every day to see if I could get a fresh case to find one figure are over, I still have my "connections". I can tell you with complete certainty that the items are still stupidly hot all the time. I still can't walk into one of our Wal-Marts, Targets or our Toys R Us and find any ships at all or any figures that aren't from 8 months ago. In fact, in the last 6 months the only ship I have been able to find was the Clone Wars Republic Gunship and it was on clearance right after Christmas and that was at ONE Target. The market is there, and they would do well, they just won't because they know damn well that if they release the good stuff once-twice a year we will suck it up like it the last drink of water in the Sahara.

While I liked the episode and the bit at the end was priceless, I am getting kind of tired of people shooting people whenever they feel they need to be heard, especially on a military vessel. "I am sick and think you're cylon" BLAMO - Sure she didn't hit her but she makes it seem like she wanted to when talking to Adama later. "Don't do that!" BLAMO Gaeta gets capped in the leg. Ouch.

Only thing I don't like about the Falcon is that it's never in scale with itself: toys, pictures, databanks, with other ships, figures, people. When I can put the big, nice X-Wing toy inside the "cargo bay" I'll be impressed. All I see here is a mold enlarged and rehashed again. For some reason Hasbro thinks if they release a $400-500 "toy" no one will buy it and everyone knows they are wrong. There are few certainties in life. The ones that are that you will be born. You will pay taxes. You will like/love/hate Star Wars or know someone who does and you will die. The sooner the property holders get this through their heads more than once a year, the sooner I (and quite a few others) will be happy and start buying SW toys again.
