Eugimon, for what it's worth, I didn't find it condescending. As for the rest of it, I was simply trying to say there were a lot of people(who for the sake of the argument are mostly in this thread) who had it dead and buried before it came out and it seems to me that even after seeing it some are hating it just out of principle alone. We all can't love the same things, that's what makes it interesting. It's just how someone people go about sharing the opposite opinion it is what bugs sometimes.

While I can agree the overall lack of common sense written into most movies is stupid, this time it doesn't detract from the whole film. Even with Sam standing there lying to his girlfriend who knew about everything related to the TFs, lying to Prime and BB and not doing the obvious thing and talking about the shard I still sat there waiting for more. I laughed at the dogs humping. I laughed at the entirely unnecessary stoned mom scenes and every scene with the Twins in it. I cheered when Optimus made his entrance. I cheered at his and BB's overall ass kickery. I rolled my eyes at Wheelie humping her leg and the giant robot testicles. The list goes on and on in both directions. Good and bad. Even with all of that, I still think the movie was amazing, fun and worth seeing more than once.

Fair enough. But on the same hand, more than a few of you who admittedly liked the first one had little or no hope for this one from the word go.

Guess I can safely say I don't mind being in the clear majority of morons this time around. I love the movie. I didn't walk in already hating it like so many others did.

True. Still makes me wonder: if they were transformers before, why were they completely mind wiped while in what was supposed to be a form of stasis? Tigatron was a perfect example of a transformer with neither side interfering and he didn't know who Prime or Megatron any of the rest were. He turned out as a Maximal...but I guess that was just to go along with being a tree hugging hippie. Or did I forget an explanation from the show? =\ Seems (to me at least) that that could be what they were maybe trying to relay in the movie.

Not getting my hopes up as it was "supposed" to come at E3 according to numerous sources. Then again, not announcing it at E3 when it was expected and the put down of the rumors about a new design could just be to give them some slack for the end of the year with Christmas. The price drop would/will be nice, the new design would be awesome. Great to know about the hard drive stuff. Be a real nice way to save some money AND get a huge HD. I had no idea.

Two of my friends have the Asus G50Vt and it's pretty damn nice. They play WoW with everything turned up and they run amazingly. I know they both play CoD4 but I am not entirely sure of the settings there, though one of them isn't shy about cranking everything up. FEAR 2 ran really nicely too. Best buy was selling them for $999 maybe a month ago. Not sure now. It's not the best ZOMGWTFHAHAHAHAWOW gaming laptop but it is really nice for the pricetag. The newer version is the Asus G71G but being new it's running $2k.

The 800 wasn't submerged and what it did have on it was then flash frozen. The molten metal didn't melt Marcus' hand off either. The same could be attributed to Marcus' ripping it's head off. As for invincible, small arms(short of the grenades that didn't do sh*t) and a cyborg still thinking in terms of being human, sums it up pretty well. The surgery, yeah, fine. John will get in infection in the interim between movies and will need to raid a Skynet factory for penicillin.

I don't recall seeing the actual surgery and 15 years is a long time to learn how to do things. They did it in The Hunt for Red October. =P No, it's not guarded by a single terminator. I agree with this one. I was trying to pinpoint where Skynet would have learned about it. Best guess, Skynet somehow found out Reese was the one that went back in time and then assumed. I dunno.
