Weird this should pop up today. I just finished the game this morning. I loved it.

I had to jump on the bandwagon with the 1887s when they were broke. Both times. MANY a nuke was had running them. Scavenger, lightweight/stopping power and commando/ninja. Too many times I'd hear the footsteps only to turn and eat buckshot from FIFTY yards away. Had to get with the G18s because all other secondaries got nerfed into the ground too.

I think we might have played a different game altogether.

Or like me you lose the battle with the soap dish when said mat fails. 18 stitches later I definitely agree with Eugimon.

I think the one bit of humor I enjoyed was the scene where Bee parks on the bushes and Sam makes the joke about the shirt. Everything else was just...eh. Didn't impress me or ruin the movie, just felt like a lot of shrug moments. -
Sniping in either MW was fun on most maps. The balance/accuracy/registration issues with the sniper rifles in BO all just add up to huge amounts of fail.

I don't think he's too small at all. This is the Bayverse. Nothing says Unicron can't be just some bad ass bot like The Fallen was. -

Unicron? -
Haha. Well said. It's something new and shiny and easier to get into playing (server wise) than MW2 but overall the gameplay in multiplayer is shot to poo as far as balance and skill. Hip fire and sub machine guns seem to be the ONLY way to get kills unless you happen to be camper in hardcore with a pistol. Graphically, it's dated and ugly. MoH suffered the same thing. Games are supposed to look BETTER as they "improve", not worse. As others have said, the points system is dumb too. Having to buy items isn't so bad in itself, but having to rebuy every single perk you had for a weapon again all at once after you prestige is just stupid and costly. I liked being rewarded for being skilled with a weapon, not just having enough money to buy it to make it worthwhile. The maps are also all WAY too small. I like close quarters maps, but not ALL of them. Lastly, the spawning system in multiplayer has to be the single worst system in any game I've ever played. I don't know how many times I have literally spawned in front of someone in knife distance. There's no "danger" sensor. You just pop up where the system decides you should, hostile forces standing there or not. They reintroduced spawn camping in a big way. They're all set and it's not based on where your team or teammates were like in MW2. I'm SUPER glad I tried this first and didn't cave when this launched. MW2 had its issues, but given time, proper funding and dedicated servers from the start, it could have been a strong game for another year while a GREAT sequel was produced.

Not a huge fan of the bot animations and not a fan at all of the overall animations but to hear Frank and Peter again was pretty awesome. The first two episodes didn't really seem like it was going to be a good story for a mini-series and 30 minutes each just doesn't really give it enough time but I guess we'll see. Worst case scenario: we all lose 2 hours and 30 minutes of our lives spanned over a couple weeks. Unless it being a mini-series is only for the first 5?

I don't consider anything larger than 10 inches to be a Netbook since a very high majority of them come with a hell of a lot more than Netbooks normally do. It's just a mini at that point. -
It just startled me when it popped up. Was like "OMG MACROSSWORLD NOOOOOOO......oh, it's that missing image down there." Needless to say, my roommate was a little scared from all the yelling and talking to my computer when he knows I'm not playing CoD.

No. I am still going to find you and.....upgrade you.

Something in this thread is asking for a UN and PW upon opening this page.

What curve is PC behind? Making graphically dated games(Both MoH and Black Ops come to mind) so they are playable on multiple, extremely outdated(in comparison to how fast other hardware is replaced) platforms? Game breaking bugs that aren't fixable in a patch? Unfinished games that have multiple DLCs at launch that should have been included IN the initial purchase or should be free? The extra $10 most new console games cost over new PC games? Which one? $3,000. Lol. I wish.

I honestly don't think timings mean shite anymore. A LOT of stuff that is amazing ram and comes highly recommended from gamers and sites and such, runs 9-9-9 out of the box. I admit I don't know anywhere near as much about ram timings as I used to, but it's not something that seems to come up a lot anymore, if at all in the "circles." =P -
Don't go see Skyline. It's not terribly terrible like everyone keeps saying but it's definitely not worth $10.50.

This. On both accounts. I lost discs 1 and 3 umpteen years ago and just downloaded a "hacked" version that had a modded application file. Netbooks are garbage and a waste of money. If you want to be so cheap that you can only spend $300 on a computer, there are full size Dells, Compaqs and Acers that are maybe $20 more and you get at least a celeron,(which granted isn't great but it's better than the Atom) 2 gigs of ram, and a 320 gig hard drive. -

Toshiba L655-S5117 Core i3 at 2.4ghz 4 gigs of DDR3 320 gig HD 15.6" screen 5.5 lbs Right now it's $449 but will go back up to $479 Sunday morning. It's a solid system for sub $500 considering it is running an i3 and has 4 gigs of ram instead of 3 that usually runs in that price range. The core family all support HD video BUT this particular model doesn't have an HDMI port. It's an ad item this week and is something we're supposed to be running through the holidays. Your local Best Buy should definitely have one on display. =) -

Netgear N300/600. $65/$180 at Best Buy. I have/use the 300 for computer gaming,(WoW, MW2, DCUO, WC3, SC2) torrenting, Pandora and Netflix with no issues running 3 hardwired computers, a hardwired 360, a laptop doing all of the above too and 2 smartphones. All of which are constantly running simultaneously. The 600 is a dual band gigabit with a usb interface for a network drive. You can also get them installed by Geek Squad for $129/199 respectively. Avoid Belkin like the plague. It may be awesome to get a N-300 series router for $40 but you definitely get what you pay for. (yeah, I know I'm a walking Best Buy ad, but I love my job. )
