I bought a VF-25F... in person at Mandarake Nakano!!! Awesome place, but I had trouble finding it (top floor for Macross toys). There was another Macross fan right before me buying DX chogokins. Anyone from the board?

I was able to figure it out. The joint was extremely tight... I was careful not to apply too much force while pulling and finally the joint got loose somehow. Love the sv-262, but wow, that was stressful!

Thanks for doing this for all these years! I appreciate all the efforts in maintaning something like this. It was really helpful to have and save me a lot of time.

I was able to transform mine in battroid mode, but to transform it back in fighter, the arms dont want to lift before rotation. it seems tight, perhaps stuck. any advice? (i check anymoon's video, but his copy seems to be looser than mine)

It's tough, but I easily understand the urge. This is my first sdf - missed on the first release and secondary market was just insane. It feel just like when I got the vf-4g. Looking forward to x-mas morning...

Neat trick: beware since only higher priced item is shown by store. If you click on any store, you will see if they have another at a lower price. I got this last week, and while transformation is tough, it is very intuitive. Had a lot of fun transforming it... Nice valk! Perhaps I will get the white one - there is one in delta, right?, depending on the price. Edit: white one look sweet. Let hope for a dx release. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10470832/20/1

I got mine yesterday... It's been a while since I swosh around with a macross toy. I love the shape of the wings. I know it's for transformation, but I could not refrain myself to use them as movable wings.

I have both and enjoyed them equally. My advice would be keep your YF-30. As stated above, you can probably find a 4G for a decent price. Even the Yamato one can be found cheaper than it was. Is the YF-30 becoming the new 4G (from what I read on the forums upon release)?

I am late in the game, but I ordered one through Jungle. I was hesitant between this one and the Bandai VF-171 (Alto, perhaps)... In the end, I might end up with both. The bot mode seems very imposing and my VF-19 needed some company. BTW, very nice pics of the VF17D, congrats!
