Practice on a junker toy before ex. dollar store. And use primer... it cost more to do so, but the result is so much better.

For 50$, it's a not a bad deal... I love the die cast on them, give them some heft. But, it's probably why they are so difficult to pose. I use a clear bandai stand for posing and they are very nice display piece. But yeah, for a toy, better invest more in a DX chogokin (if you can get one) or a yamato v2 or arcadia 1/60.

Mandarake is awesome! My collection grew significantly since I know them. My only comment is that they ship sal parcel or ems now for dx chogokin. I bought several dx chogokin before using sal small packet and the shipping price was much more reasonable.

I snagged one at 21k from Jungle earlier this week. Nothing wrong mentioned, so let's hope it's in good condition.

I love the battroid mode, but I would not get it as full price. I would love to see other paint scheme (artic, woodland, low vis, etc) like the 1/48 before this.

I had the same problem and though it was broken. You need to pull up the arms, and it's very scary how tight the arm pivot is. In my case, the arms were stuck and I could not move it up, no matter how hard I tried. I managed to pull it up, while being very careful. Don't force it, since the pivot might snap off. Jenius & wotafa's videos were extremely helpful to find out what was the problem.

I love 1/48 vf!!! That will be awesome to find more, but I doubt it. Some of them have unique paint jobs that bandai will probably not revisit.

Great work! I just got a mirai Q-rau but I found the figure too light. Metal feet might be good to give some weight. Is it feasible to print your Qrau's feet in metal at shapeways? Would the cost be prohibitive?

Sunstreaker is indeed a true masterpiece. I have him in bot mode all the time to play with, while the other are in their boxes. I wonder if their new approach with MP is intentionally complex to fight ko. It's much harder to reverse-engineer a toy with complex transformation with very strict tolerance. Anyways, back on topic, not a toy, but I got the macross design book from softbank. I am very happy!
