That is a great mod. It even has Macross music when you are playing. Just be careful of the Macross Cannon the first time you use it. Plus my VF-19Kia could not cause defections. Talk about making an old game fun again. Thanks to the programmer that came up with this.

Do not eat your Valks. Recall is not a factor since the toys are not marketed for sale in the US and the current problem is a violation of US saftey standards. I do not know if it is a factor in Japan since I do not know about their laws... even if it were a factor in Japan I doubt they, the seller or producer, would be interested in paying for the return for toys shipped to the US since they are not for US consumption. If someone was to pick a fight over this possible none issue, the suppliers like HLJ and others in Japan would just close sales to the US which would be bad for all us here in the States.

Some pictures looks good and others . At least those gold marking are painted and not stickers. I still can not stop looking at my Hasegawa SV-51. If using gold paint perhaps the base purple should be metal flake also. Really make Nora high vis.

"Where have all the VF-17's gone?" can be a new song. I thought about using a 1/72 F-117 but they are too angular when compared to the Bandai 1/65 and 1/144 VF-17 fighters which are very rounded. Plus the tail section is all wrong. A pure scratch build based on the battroid will be easier in the end. But then easy is relative.

You and I think alike. I opened mine up to see if I could pull some molds off it. That is a lot of vinyl.

If sales are low perhaps HLJ will put these new ones up for a 50% off sale like they did with the red Garland.

Wave did make a 1/72 battroid VF17D/S but it would take a bit of work to make it a gerwalk or fighter. Can see them from time to time on ebay.

Not only a helmet but joints that bend. Wish Yamato would make a Yui and Shogo figure set but then there is no reason to buy more Garlands.

Sorry do not have a recast but a few origional SHE kits minus the caps. I have seen some "cap sets" for sale on HLJ and have wondered what is close.

What size poly caps did you use for the joints? I cannot figure out which ones to order from HLJ.

Will take a leap of faith for the 21 but not the 51. Yamato has made the 21 twice before in 1/72. Just hope they build on the earlier success and not do the purple fast pack color shift again.

Hope that your source is accurate about the VF-4, 11, and 22. Sad that the VF-5000 does not appear. Rather odd the SV-51 does not reappear.

HLJ has stopped taking preorders on the VF-0S with ghost. Wow did that go by fast. Edit: Disregard HLJ is taking preorders again. So I jumped on the band wagon.

You can always get an old yamato 1/72 VF-11 until Hobbyfan gets around to filling the order. I have read the SHE VF-11 is close to 1/72 but those are hard to find. Plus, I do not know how it would look if you want to put your VF-11 next to a Hasegawa V-1

Yeah! when it comes to the SHE models need to grab them when you can. I passed on a VA-3 last year and wish I had not.

The blue garland looks interesting but the legs, arms, and gun have been changed. Let me guess just like Macross Games it only works on a japanese system.
