  1. Still call it Gundam Cross-eyed but yeah it is fun. Just finishing the Zeon campaign for a second time. The key is to get it cheep and understand that it is not the best game on the PS3. We had forewarning and didn't pay full price for those that did when first released I can understand the pain.
  2. Would that be for the Zeonography line? Either way it is a great idea since the Xamel is only as a model and MSiA.
  3. Speculation... request, demand. None of the items listed are verified to be included with the new 1/60. Just trying to figure out the higher price other than the poor dollar to yen exchange rate. A stand should be a good guess since they were included with the SV-51 but not seeing much "value added" to this new release.
  4. Reasons to justify a higher price. All of the following need to be included. 1. Strike and Super Fast Pack parts 2. Fixed pose and adjustable hands 3. All wing stores included, that should be three types for the VF-1 series? 4. Back and side panel filler pieces 5. Stand 6. Additional pilots: TV, DYRL, Misa, Minmay...depending on the type 7. More Tampo markings, better stickers and water slide decals. Oh almost forgot 8. TV and DYRL forearm armor. Sounds like too much... not really... haven't asked for fully functional flaps, rudders and ailerons, compression shocks on the landing gear, turning nose wheel, tilting telescoping pilot seats with ejection function or spinning barrels in the gun pod. Even though fans have built models and modified toys to have such functions.
  5. 1/60 pilot has less black on the helmet, the hands are not hovering over the controls as much and the arms are not as extended. The 1/60 has the vernier more forward on the nose, the intakes and chest panel are not as sleek as the 1/48, the nose is a stubbier.... Plus the fast packs look better from the side on the 1/48. That orange thing in the side of the engine intakes looks better on the 1/60 than the red spot on the 1/48. Guess you need both in hand.
  6. A quick search of Ebay and you can buy two of the old but still new 1/60 VF-1's for less than the price of one new VF-1S. Already having the VT-1, VE-1, VF-1S Strike, and TRU VF-1A I cannot see getting these unless there is some strange math and the new 1/60 is larger than the older ones. With the dollar in the tank compared to the yen collecting toys is not as fun as it was. Either the price of the new release will drop or prices for the old ones on ebay will increase but based on materials I can not see how plastic is more expensive than metal. Well, there is one I would get... a Max VF-1S.
  7. After seeing the price, I look over my shoulder to where my old 1/60 VF-1S Strike was... then I remember it is packed for moving. These are 1/48 scale prices for a 1/60. Yamato is making the old 1/60's more attractive and pricing the new ones out of the market.
  8. Well the TV series was half a show.... So the movie will either be good like the opening episodes of the series or put the franchise six inches under. I just hope the movie is enough to have the models re-issued since Bandai forgot to distribute them to the US? Guess demand was not that high.
  9. I got the VF-4 over three years ago. I have been waiting over two years for the a second VF-4, VF-11, and VF-2SS. Wonder if I will have to reorder. Thanks for the good news.
  10. I can't remember how to do but it took alot of effort. I sat down with a sheet of paper and wrote out the Japanese symbols and then the buttons I pushed. In the end I gave it to a friend in Tagalog class.
  11. That is great news. Keep it up and lets us know how we can help.

    Thunder Hammer

Nothing but a lack of will.
  13. SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks alot, from glad I passed to crap missed out. CM will make money selling Treads thanks to your creation. Great Job.
  14. I bought both but did not use the double sided tape part from 28 only the U adapter from 29. I just parted out stand 28. The double sided tape will take the paint off your model if you what to remove it from the stand. You could try the double sided tape on the wall and then the U adapter on your model. The stands have the same size ball joints except for the larger one the base that needs to be reduced to fit in the smaller joints. Sorry that I do not have anymore pictures of them in use but will be ordering more since they are back in stock.
  15. Correct! The X-9 shot off the arms and legs on the VF-21 and then Guld jettisoned the damaged parts. I had to watch the scene a couple of times but I believe it was Guld's plan to fool the X-9 AI by loosing his arms and legs. He had engaged the barrier system but was smiling after his airframe was all shot up. A normal Valk up to that point had its engines in the legs. The X-9 AI tactics might have been programed with that information and may not have the programing to see/know/realize that the YF-21 had it engines on the back. No engines, no arms... no threat? It was a prototype verse prototype fight and the X-9 was controlled by Sharon an AI singer not an AI pilot. Either way I hope the arms stay on when they are meant and remain in position when posed. Plus, I wonder how long before a custom head is cast to change the YF-21 into the VF-22? Since Hasegawa made the 22 is it possible for Yamato to get the rights or is M7 still exclusive to Bandai?
  16. Just got the Eureka Seven Game for PSP. The anime clips and the opening title sequence are great. The first chapter was fun but a little easy and the game seems to follow the storyline of the anime. Included was a mail in offer if you have the other two Japanese PS2 Eureka Seven games and a sheet of Gekko State Stickers. I hope Bandai comes out with an english version of this game like they did the PS2 games.
  17. Which team in the Asian Hockey League does that dude play for? Sounds like lift lines in Korea or trying to get on a train. Good showing restraint and letting the little b$%tard go.
  18. Another option to explore is http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN948216 It has numerous adapters and if one doesn't fit they are easy to modify. Plus it supports a lot of weight and very stable.
  19. Hasegawa stand 28 uses self adhesive tape. Hasegawa stand 29 has a u shaped adapter that is perfect for the old Toynami SP's. These stands are great because they are clear and the ball joints are easy to release so that you can add segments from additional stands to make them longer. I will keep looking for more pictures.
  20. Cuba... Colombia? How about Canada It can build on CBC's Trojan Horse
  21. Jenius, Thanks for the review and advice to the US customers to possibly wait for the Toynami re-release. More importantly, the warnings and the inventory of little bits that like to pop-off.
  22. Bad Form! Seen to remember he likes Bandai for the VF-17.
  23. Ouch and I thought Ace Combat is arcade like... Still A.C. X is my favorite on PSP.
  24. I always thought Max and Minmay. Hikaru doesn't wear glasses. He annoys everyone.
  25. Crap! I just wanted the Tread. I canceled my pre-order at HLJ over a month ago due to cost and the fugly fighter. C'est la vie! o C'est la mort. Gobotfool thanks for posting the pictures and being the test pilot for this thing. After seeing your pictures is the center of the Toynami too wide to sit on the CM link bar? Plus you reminded me how much the MPCs sag.
