  1. Hope your right. Rather a glaring departure from the anime if not. I wonder how noticeable the mounting holes are? Edit: Revisited the new pictures and the color poster in the background has the wrong color fast packs. Does not look good.
  2. Other than wing sag... I remember some of the wing hinges were wrong... two lefts or two right hinges. They were discovered when transformed to Battroid and one wing would not fold as much as the other but never resulted in wings falling off or other structural failure.
  3. There is a Navy Sea Hawk in 1/60 that would be perfect for a Macross repaint. I would get the M0 Mig-29 and F-14. I already have the 1/72 Hasegawas. Yet before those I would want the 1/60 VF-4 and VF-11. Edit: Here is where to find the SH-60 http://www.flyingmule.com/products/NR-25587
  4. I just set my resolution and screen size and left them. Including game saves I have: 36 CD’s All Yukikaze All Gundam Seed Movies All 8th MS Team Patlabor movies 1+2 All Macross Zero Macross DYRL Macross Flashback 2012 Macross Plus Movie Macross Seven Movie Macross Seven OVA Macross 20th Anniversary Special Indian Jones Trilogy Tales of the Golden Monkey (opening movie) The Rocketeer The Final Countdown Superman Superman Returns Spiderman Ghostbusters Yet to download: The Rocket (French version) All on the memory card. I may increase the resolution for the bigger card but I really didn't see an increase in viewing quality the last time. Is it more noticeable on a TV as opposed to the PSP screen? Besides I am more interested in numbers of movies on the card since I don't think UMDs will survive long on deployments.
  5. Yeah. It was the biggest pain in the A$$ to figure out how to do it. I stayed up all night tying to figure out the encoding and transfer process. After that I spent the money and still had to spend an afternoon. I never tried the Video 9 but have heard good things. Not only will some programs generate the thumbnail, but will encode with the correct file numbers and assign a word title when displayed as opposed to the "Code". Problems and gripes aside... it is great to have a platform for Music, Videos, and Games. I have the second biggest memory card and the extended battery. It served me well on my last trans-Pacific flight. Now that Sony has an ever bigger card, think the cost is +200, I will get it when the price comes down. Well worth the learning curve.
  6. I know you guys are speaking English but... wow. Is this a hack of the PS3 like the people that are using 360 and Wii controllers? The big thing that I am wondering is will the MGS controllers be sold separately? Googled it but found nothing last night. I don't know if they are gun metal or OD green but I would like to replace my normal controllers with a couple of the special DS3's.
  7. X 360 exclusive! I dumped my replacement X360 with all accessories and games on Ebay last year after Microsoft sent me a refurbished POS that RROD right out of the box. Getting rid of the 360 was how I was able to get a PS3. Wife would go Ape-S if I bought one especially for a Gundam game. I know what you mean about never leaving the house. When Command and Conquer (for PC) was released I never slept. I just went to school and then stayed up all night playing. Amazing that I ever finished college. Don't how how much fun being a ground-pounder vs a mobile suit would be. I see a very short life span unless you have very good concealment and can coordinate for volley fire of anti-armor weapons from other teams. Just look at 8th MS team the villagers were chewed up by the anti-personnel weapons on a non-functional Zaku II. OK, yeah that does sound like fun if the game can support that level of tactial planning and execution. I think it would be fun, as Zeon, to steal a Earth Forces Gundam and go on a rampage. Yeah old story line. I love stealing other teams equipment in Star Wars Battlefront and C+C but you are instantly tagged as enemy. I think you should be able to walk about unmolested if the theft was unobserved, at least, until you do an offensive act. Either way Operation: Troy looks so better than Crossfire and so much fun.
  8. Are we going to see Gundam OPERESHONTOROI in other words GUNDAM OPERATION: TROY on the PS3 or will we be abandoned like Ace Combat 6? The Japanese release date is June 26, 2008 for X-box. I don't see a PS listed at http://www.operation-troy.com/ It does look good.
  9. He has great camera work. The first super poseables (minus fast packs) were bow legged and looked odd. The later releases Battle Cry (fast packs) and DYRL (fast packs) had straight legs. First Run http://www.toynami.com/robotech_veritech.html Battle Cry http://www.toynami.com/robotech_battlecry.html DYRL http://www.toynami.com/macross.html They come up on Ebay from time to time.
  10. Testors and Tamiya are two that come to mind. You can put on your decals seal them with future and then apply coats of semi-dull or dull to highlight wear and other effects. Armor dull but chrome parts glossy.
  11. The MP4 for the PSP has to have a specific file name for the PSP to recognize it. M4V04895.MP4 is an example. Some video conversion programs will format the movie's name correctly and then import them to the correct folders. I tired drag and drop to my memory stick on the PC but it didn't work. I bought PSP MAX media manager and Sony Media Manager 2.0. I use the MAX exclusively. There is some programs available on freeware but I felt safer buying the software. Now none of these programs break microvision encoding but MAX media is great for formating and downloading movies for your PSP.
  12. Those make a world of difference. Yet the MH looks great now even better.
  13. I don't know wait a minute. Let me look in the mirror. Yeah. That's it!
  14. Here is one of the photos that appeared in the old post. What I thought when I saw it was, "Don't know what was asked the blond seems surprised but the chick with the glasses is all about it." Still couldn't find the old posts though. Edited due to lack of typing skill and good taste.
  15. Loser!!! Looosssser!!! Wait a minute I paid almost full price on a pre-order out for Canada for ED... At least it was before the USD tanked. Still I like the sound of Ace Ventura saying "loser!"
  16. There was a write up on the Megazone 23 game somewhere here but I could not find it. As I recall is was a Dating Sim with some action. I do remember a blue Garland.
  17. Miriya, you are being rather prophetic. I think the two seaters will be the big money makers... wonder if Yamato will charge $10 more for the extra seat. Since I never got the VF-1D I better start saving.
  18. Yeah! with them being in scale with the Garland is a plus for the CM. If they can be found cheap a year from now may pick them up and fill the screw holes.
  19. Then you forgot the best part when Talho slaps Renton on the back of his head for doing it wrong.
  20. Will this be in English or will I have to learn Japanese again???? Either way great news.
  21. Thanks for the warning. I have been eyeing the 1/48 19 since it first was produced...have resisted up to this point... but I have to put a hold on my purchases. Its PCS time again.
  22. All of your models look great. But that is a beautiful YF-19.
  23. VF-0A and VF-0S have the same ghost. Only the stand alone has a different paint job.
  24. For cheep fun pick up the Eureka Seven Games for the old PS2. Dissenters let the stones fly... if anything get the second game...the battles have more surfing. Yes, wrong system... but the Eureka Seven Game for the PSP has a level where you push the buttons in the correct order to massage Ms. Talho's legs ... how is that for Playstation oddity. There is also a level where you scrub floors before time runs out.
