  1. Wow HWR MKII that is a nice scout walker! Did you add those polycaps? I don't remember AMTs ever having so nice a model. It finally stopped raining of a bit and I was able to spray the rest of the base coat.
  2. Sorry RF, That VF-2SS is not a Revy, it just has the standard joints. Current project is Bandai's 1/144 YMT-05. The Revy master is clearly Valk Addict... but I am thinking of a Battroid only with the left over parts.
  3. Not much progress. Have painted the parts light brown, tan, sand and nato gray 1. The center of the road wheels rubber. The road wheels are the slow part since I am doing by hand and not airbrush.
  4. Thought the same in an earlier picture. If the fighter droops too much may have to build a fighter only version.
  5. Ran out of primer but these are the parts that I have done on the YMT-05.
  6. Tough crowd! My fingers have yet to heal. Next work is not Macross so the work in progress will be on Samurai Monkey: http://www.samurai-monkey.com/boardz/viewt...p?p=15257#15257 I will post a few key picks on the workbench tread.
  7. ComicKaze, the first transformation series is great. The Gerwalk roll/transformation is like Hikaru's VF-1J. But WM Chengs builds are always the high water mark.
  8. Thanks PsYcHoDyNaMiX, very clever better than plastic wrap. Now I need to get some "Kneadatite".
  9. Work and school is always a downer, except the money from work. On the belly plates, I can see that you have used sheet platic for the construction but what is the green stuff? How did you keep it from sticking to the origional parts. The canopy and face plate are perfect. They will look great in color. Looks like lots of hard work.
  10. The new pictures look great. Thanks much. I have only seen episode 1 and have stayed out of all but the toy and model discussions to avoid spoilers. Yet??? Is the VF-25 that large an aircraft or is the pilot too small?
  11. Skypoet, Gald that you like it. Nice VF-1A MAX that you have in your avatar. Thanks to everyone that have viewed this thread and provided inspiration during the build. I am truly amazed that there have been over 3,500 views in a month and a half. Do finally have the resin kit from Samurai-Monkey to build the non-SAP battroid but it was fun doing an all mode variable without the resin parts. Now, just wish I had the second model that was sacrificed for the parts since it is out of stock at HLJ. Guess it was a limited reissue. C'est la vie. I still have two more in the box.
  12. With the VF-2SS with removable SAP done, now started/finishing the desert Magella-attack tank. May start the YMT-05 Hildolfr, next. Edit: No way to explain it.
  13. Just get an airbrush and make your own. It looks nice but yeah other than destroids I really cannot see buying more Yamatos unless something really NEW and nice comes out.
  14. Very Clever! I think I understand the basis of your execution fears. Could it be that Bandai may just make toy versions for their old 1/100 VF-1, VF-19 Kia, and the VF-2SS. I hope not. The new toys need to be complete redesigns.
  15. Graham, Here is the Ace Combat Game for the PSP http://psp.ign.com/objects/822/822479.html I bought it last year of a flight to Hawaii. It is not too bad. The smart people hear will have to explain how to put VF-X on your PSP.
  16. Dude, where's the sale? Link Please. HLJ still looks like full price.
  17. 505th, it is Bandai's 1/100 kit. You don't need to hope except for the 1/60 part, here is how to do it. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...t=0&start=0 Just don't forget your C100 paper.
