  1. The odd misprint SMS may be like upside down stamps and misprinted money. Worth more as a collectors item if the error is rare.
  2. Technology, economics and geopolitics aside, the VF was developed for defense; first Earth then the Macross exploration fleets. That is that saddest part of the real future. We can't get back to the moon let alone envision an expansive exploration and development of space has a viable habitat.
  3. Wow, that will be a great looking custom when done.
  4. Seeing the Yamato in SMS colors... the Bandai is not looking so great but then I know the lengths that you had to goto to get the Yamato to "stand up". The Bandai has the shuttle mode but the Battroid seems kind of squat.
  5. Except for the fact the paint comes off the DX VF-27 so easily during transformation. Can always have the DX in fighter and the model in Battroid.
  6. I hope that is a pre-production resin model, hence the required support stick. I had the old Yamato in that position without a stick, but that was the only position it was in.
  7. 1/72 VF-0 Battroid was made by Hasegawa. http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG20 1/72 VF-17 was released in Battroid by Wave. http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVMC-21 Most others are/were available in resin. Just post in the "Wanted" what you want to purchase.
  8. shoulder pins?
  9. That is so true. Just wish the fellow was building a CH-47 and not a UH-1.
  10. and with some yellow highlights, the lobster can be used as a Varga.
  11. I was thinking about the old power armor last night. I don't know if it is 1/100 scale but here it is with the Yamato Q-ray.
  12. It will not be long before someone uses a dremel and some revy joints and the 1/100 will bend at the knees. If the mold is milked for a light missile version and a scout pod.... I can see the regult increasing in popularity, especially if there is an officer pod in the future.
  13. The CF VF-25 will be the next Bandai exclusive, Just like the CF Q-ray was. I hope to see the CF VF-25 as both model and toy.
  14. Since the model kit has two versions lets hope that Bandai produces the "Normal Type" for general release since Bandai continues to defy market sense with exclusive non-sense.
  15. Roberto These photos are the the holy grail so that this isn't a part swapper. Thanks for posting them. Makes me wish I was back in the states. Fly4V
  16. Megatron, Is this what you are looking for. I hope that it helps with your efforts. In the end the project is well worth the work. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=26951 Fly4V
  17. Janx, Thanks for digging this up. Sorry that I have been off the air so long. Iraq can have that effect. Hope you finished the project.
  18. The completed VF-27 looks great but the computer I am using in Kuwait in is about to die and the color settings are all off. What I get to see is a rich "YF-21sh" purple with blue stripes. Great idea for a custom.
  19. The engineering and construction of Hasegawa compared to Bandai is quite different. It like people arguing about apples and oranges and It is very easy to complain that Hasegawa is just milking old molds, other than then expected 1/48 YF-19. I complain about that all the time but we have to remember that Hasegawa is the only company to market the Mac 0 Armored Battroid. Other than a little trading figure that came out a couple of months ago... the model is the only example. The increased popularity of Macross F is good for the entire franchise. What is bad is the economic down turn and poor exchange rates. Yet, for those that have money to spend, market saturation will bring lower prices. I hate the saying but in the end "It will be all good".
  20. Colors look great but shouldn't there be more marking on the armor?
  21. Even a fighter version is milking the mold. I'd like to see a Hasegawa GERWALK. Sell all three modes!!!!! The 20+ year old 1/72 Imai is really dated looking...but the best part is the TV flight suit pilot.
  22. I was able to get the Alto Super Packs but funny enough don't have the VF-25F to put them on..... So much for getting the Alto Armored set for the aircraft. So the Tamasshi Exclusives are:???? 1:60 Alto Super Packs 1:60 Ozma Super Packs 1:60 Michael Speakers and Ranka figure 1:60 Luca Ghosts 1:72 Clear VF-25F Not a good trend.
  23. The Alto VF-25 is now listed as discontinued on HLJ and reports of store sell-outs... Is this a sign of the popularity of Macross F or is Bandai limiting the production to make improvements or increase demand? I like the quick turn around on improvements but wish I had pre-ordered an Alto Mk2.
  24. "Shizuoka Hobby Show 2009, and Yamato online shop" well that makes the decision not to buy real easy. Even if I wanted to spend the money, CAN'T.
  25. Are you looking for a 1/60 Mig 29 or F-14?... perhaps the Cheyenne Destroid? Guess I am falsely assuming that the totally new is related to Macross Zero. Will end up with the VF-22 but will pass on the new 19s until there is a serious discount. I really wish the blue and orange repaints had been the test flight versions. Have to wonder why we got the VFX 19 in the GN-U figures but not the 1/60?
